수풍순기환 투여가 고지방, 고탄수화물 식이로 유발된 비만형 제2형 당뇨병 동물모델에 미치는 영향

Objective : Obesity is an important cause of diabetes, and lipotoxicity causes insulin resistance. Recently a lot of research is being done on PPAR-${\alpha}$. TNF-${\alpha}$. adiponectin, and leptin, which are important obesity related factors. In this study, we investigated the effects of Supungsunki-hwan on high fat. high carbohydrate diet-induced obese type 2 diabetic mouse models. Methods: Diabetes was induced in ICR male mouse (30${\pm}$5g) with Surwit's high fat, high sucrose diet. Mice were divided into 4 groups(n=10) of Normal. Control. Supungsunkj-hwan group. and acarbose group. The Supungsunki-hwsn group was given 10% Supungsunkj-hwan in their diet. and the acarbose group was given 0.5% acarbose in their diet. After 6 weeks. body weight. food intake, FBS and OGTT. lipid profile and liver enzymes, epididymal fat weight, and gene expression of leptin, adiponectin, TNF-${\alpha}$ and PPAR-${\alpha}$ were measured. Leptin. adiponectin. tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-${\alpha}$ and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-${\alpha}$ were evaluated by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Results : Supungsunkj-hwan increased the gene expression of PPAR-${\alpha}$, which reduces lipotoxicity and insulin resistance. Supungsunkj-hwan also significantly reduced triglyceride. AST. ALT serum levels. and 1 hour oral glucose tolerance levels. Conclusion : These results show that Supungsunkj-hwan improves insulin resistance in the liver and muscles, by reducing triglyceride levels and lipotoxicity through increased PPAR-${\alpha}$ gene expression. This is supported by the fact that Supungsunkj-hwan significantly reduces 1 hour oral glucose tolerance levels. Therefore we suggest that Supungsunkj-hwan would be an effective treatment for obese type 2 diabetic patients.

Background/Aims: The eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) has been decreasing recently in Korea due to antibiotics resistance. The aim of this study was to investigate the trend of eradication rate and clinical factors affecting the eradication rate of H. pylori in the last 10 years in west Gyeonggi-do, Korea. Methods: The trends of eradication rate of H. pylori, gender, age, concomitant mediations, and clinical factors were retrospectively evaluated in patients with H. pylori infection between 2006 and 2015 (n=2,485). Results: The overall H. pylori eradication rate for the standard triple therapy was 82.5%. The annual eradication rates from 2006 to 2015 were 90%, 77.9%, 75.8%, 83.2%, 85.6%, 90.1%, 81.3%, 81.1%, 78.7%, and 78.8%, respectively, showing a significant decrement during the last five years (p<0.001). Higher eradication rate was observed in males than in females (p<0.001). Esomeprazole showed a higher eradication rate compared with pantoprazole between 2006 and 2010 (p<0.022). Age and the use of probiotics and mucosal protective agents played no significant role in the H. pylori eradication rate. The overall eradication rate for bismuth- based quadruple therapy was 94.4%. Conclusions: The eradication rate of H. pylori over the last 10 years for first-line therapy ranged from 75.8 to 90.1%; the eradication rate for triple therapy has declined. However, the eradication rate for quadruple therapy has remained unchanged over the last 10 years. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2017;70:232-238)

In this study, a new method for fabricating flexible transparent electrodes based on silver nanowire-polymer (AgNW-PEDOT:PSS) composite materials having a mesh pattern formed by a solution-based process without lithography was proposed. By optimizing conditions such as the amount of ultraviolet (UV) photosensitizer injected into the suspension of AgNW and PEDOT:PSS, UV exposure time, and deionized (DI) washing time, a clear and uniform mesh pattern was obtained. For the fabricated AgNW-PEDOT:PSS-based mesh-type electrodes, characteristics such as electrical sheet resistance, light transmittance, haze, and bending flexibility were analyzed according to the mixing ratio of AgNW and PEDOT:PSS included in the suspension. The fabricated mesh electrodes typically exhibited a low electrical sheet resistance of less than 20 Ω/sq while maintaining a high transmittance of 80% or more. In addition, it was confirmed from the results of analyzing the effect of PEDOT:PSS on the characteristics of the mesh-type AgNW-PEDOT electrode that the optical visibility was greatly enhanced by reducing the surface roughness and haze, and the bending flexibility was remarkably improved.
