Cobalt 조촉매를 첨가한 LNT 촉매의 NOx 및 PM 동시저감 특성

The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of NOx conversion and PM(Particulate Matter) oxidation of LNT catalysts which are 2Pt20Ba/Al₂O₃, 2Pt20Ba2Co/Al₂O₃ and 2Pt20Ba5Co/Al₂O₃, respectively. The NOx conversion of 2Pt20Ba/Al₂O₃ was higher than other LNT catalysts in channel-flow condition. However, these characteristics were different from wall-flow condition, which demonstrated that the NOx conversion of 2Pt20Ba5Co/Al₂O₃ catalyst was higher than other two catalysts. PtBaCo/Al₂O₃ catalysts possessed the largest NOx storage capacity within the temperature range of 200-600℃. The existence of Co not only improved the oxidation of NO to NO2 under lean phase, but also enhanced the release and reduction of NOx during the rich phase. The oxidation of PM take placed approximately 300℃ over 2Pt20Ba/Al₂O₃. 2Pt20Ba5Co/Al₂O₃ catalysts demonstrated similar characteristics for PM oxidation which means that co-supported catalysts do not affect the oxidation reaction of PM.
