Electron temperature and electron density were measured in a radio-frequency(rf) inductively coupled plasma using probe measurements. Measurements were made in an argon discharge for pressures from 10 to 100mTorr and input rf power from 100 to 800W. Spatial distribution Electron temperature and electron density were measured for discharge with same aspect ratio. Electron temperature and Electron density were found to depend on both pressure and power. Electron density was creased with increasing pressure. but peaked in a 70mTorr discharge. Radial distribution of the electron density was peaked in the plasma fringes. These results were compared to a simple mpdel of inductively coupled plasmas.

This study was conducted to clarify community characteristics of waterbirds migrating to Seamangum area from 2002 to 2009. Total maximum count of waterbirds observed at Saemangum area was 686,337 individuals of 176 species. 158 species and 548,989 individuals were recorded on Mangyung Estuary and 158 species and 213,794 individuals were recorded on Dongjin Estuary. Dominance species were Baikal Teals Anas formosa (40.80%), Great Knots Calidris tenuirostris (18.03%), Mallards Anas platyrhynchos (11.67%) and Dunlins Calidris alpina(6.02%). Shorerbirds were declined and waterfowl were increased during survey periods. Natural monuments and endangered birds were 27 species.

POV(Power-operated valve) consists of actuator that produces power and valve. Power-operated valves are classified into MOV(motor-operated valve), AOV(air-operated valve), extra valves such as solenoid valve according to actuator type; gate valve, globe valve and butterfly valve according to valve type. Since some POVs in US had been failed to perform a safety function, US NRC had recommended to verify the operability of POVs through Generic Letters. Korean regulatory organization also recommended to perform the safety evaluation for POVs. This paper describes the determining safety-significance and categorization methodology in the safety evaluation methodology for AOVs. In general, nuclear power plants have a large population of AOVs with varying degrees of safety-significance. Therefore, to perform an effective AOV evaluation, it is essential to establish a method to clearly identify those AOVs with the highest contribution to safe plant operation. The AOV evaluation program utilizes risk-informed methods to determine the in-scope AOV population. It is expected that utilities will develop a plant specific AOV evaluation program. There are many various type of Nuclear Power Plants in Korea. Through this study, it will be provided all Korean NPPs applicable methodology for determining safety-significance and categorization of AOV. The safety-significance classification shall involve a blended process of risk ranking and plant expert panel evaluation. AOVs are placed in one of two categories (Categories 1 and 2) based on their contribution to safe plant operation and/or accident mitigation. The requirements of the AOV evaluation are dependent on the category in which each AOV is assigned. These categories determine the extent of design review and testing activities to be performed.

The author has studied the muscle activities of anterior part of Temporal muscle and masseter muscle, when mandible is resting position, using electromyography in order to obtain the information that is necessary to diagnosis the patient with TM Disorder objectively. The 20 normal subjects and the 27 patients TM Disorder were selected for this study and patients with TMD were distributed to Helkimo's clinical Dysfunction Index and Anamnestic Index. The results were as follows : The mean Voltage of muscle activities of Anterior part of Temporal muscle and masseter muscle in normal subjects, when mandible is resting position, were 1.01±0.26, 0.77±0.34, respectively. Each mean Voltage of muscle activities of Anterior of part of Temporal muscle in patients with TM disorder according to Helkimo clinical dysfunction Index Ⅱ, Ⅲ, when mandibule is resting position, were 1.69±0.84, 2.64±1.12 and each mean Voltage of muscle activities of masseter muscle were 1.60±0.69, 1.96±0.70, respectivly. Each mean Voltage of muscle activities of Anterior part of Temporal muscle in patients with TM Disorer according to Helkimo Anamnestic Index Ⅰ, Ⅱ, when mandibule is resting position were 1.62±0.94, 2.39±1.60 and each mean muscle activities of masseter muscle were 1.59±0.98, 1.86±0.91, respectivly. The muscle activities of Anterior part of Temporal muscle and masseter muscle in patients with TM Disorder were significantly higher than those in normal subjects, (p<0.01). The higher scores of Helkimo Index were, the higher muscle activities of Anterior part of Temporal muscle and masseter muscle in patients with TM Disorder during rest position were, (p<0.01).
