This paper suggests how to improve fatigue strength of the drive shaft, which is the vulnerable part of the drive shaft system for the 3.5ton commercial vehicle. Drive shaft is composed of the university joint with spider and yoke, yoke shaft and so on. Improvement of drive were selected shaft inner/ outer yoke shaft spider. Four cases were considering design variables such as length and thickness of spider of drive shaft, fatigue analysis was conducted. Finally, we suggest that be improved drive shaft.
차량 주행 안정성 향상을 위한 차량 질량 추정 알고리즘 개발

Recently, when a lot of passengers are loaded on luggage such as trucks and buses, the vehicle mass becomes high and excessive lateral acceleration occurs during traveling, so that the vehicle is rollover easily. Therefore, it is essential to secure the stability of the vehicle attitude. In order to secure the stability of the driving, it is necessary to accurately measure the weight of the moving vehicle in real time. By accurately grasping the weight of the vehicle, the braking force can be effectively distributed. Also, it is important to measure the exact weight of the vehicle while driving to optimize the ESC(Electronic Stability Control) and regenerative braking algorithm. In this paper, we have developed a mass estimation algorithm using the least squares method to determine the mass of a vehicle. Vehicle model and data were generated using TruckSim software to verify the algorithm.
