농경지, 농기계, 농작업자 간 IoT 등의 통신 기술을 이용한 유기적인 정보교환을 통해 생산성, 효율성, 수익성을 높이는 지능형 데이터 농업 형태인 커넥티드 팜이 상용화 단계에 있다. 본 연구는 지능형 농업기계의 교육과정과 농업기계 안전교육 성과지표를 개발하고자 ICT, 로봇, 인공지능 등 첨단 기술을 적용한 농업생산의 무인화 및 고효율화 변화에 따른 농업기계의 특허 동향을 조사 분석하였다. 노지용 자동화 기술과 관련해서 미국, 일본, 유럽, 한국의 특허 건수는 각각 541건, 326건, 128건, 85건으로 미국에서의 특허 활동이 가장 활발한 것으로 나타났고, 일본, 유럽, 한국의 순으로 조사되어 한국에서의 농업 자동화 기술이 선진국에 비해 뒤쳐져있는 것으로 조사되었다. 노지 자동화 기술의 세분기술 분야로 보면, 경로 생성 및 추종 기술, 환경 인식을 통한 작업기 제어 기술, 로봇 농작업 시스템 설계 기술, 작물 및 환경 센싱 기술, 수확량 및 품질 모니터링 기술 분야 순으로 출원 점유율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. The connected farm that agricultural land, agricultural machinery and farmer are connected with an IoT gateway is in the commercialization stage. That has increased productivity, efficiency and profitability by intimate information exchange among those. In order to develop the educational program of intelligent agricultural machinery and the agricultural machinery safety education performance indicator, this study analyzed patent trends of agricultural machine with unmanned technology used in agriculture and efficiency technology applied advanced technologies such as ICT, robots and artificial intelligence. We investigated and analyzed patent trends in agricultural machinery of Korea, the USA and Japan as well as the countries in Europe. The United States is an advanced country in the field of unmanned technology and efficiency technology used in agriculture. Agricultural automation technology in Korea is insufficient compared to developed countries, which means rapid technological development is needed. In the sub-fields of field automation technology, path generation and following technology and working machine control technology through environmental awareness have activated.

In Korea, the agricultural machinery market has been generally on the rise, and particularly the demand for the diverse agricultural machine is increasing due to the radical changes in agriculture, such as a high supply of the advanced and automated agricultural machine and an increase in aged or female farmer population. Therefore, this study analyzes the technical trends in the precision agricultural machine domestically and globally to guide the direction of development of the ICT-based machine. The investigation of the precision agricultural machine in this study focuses on the production technology through analyzing the trends in sensor-related technology, the decision-making research, variable treatment technology, and academic publication. The result shows that information processing technology including the sensor and the decision-making requires various measurement factors and the established technologies are continually being developed.

It is required to develop rapid methods to identify pathogenic Salmonella in food products for protecting and maintaining safety of the public health from Salmonellosis. The objective of the present study was to explore feasibility of the nanotechnology to detect pathogenic Salmonella rapidly in various samples. Sensitivity of the a composite quantum dot to detect Salmonella typhimurium in samples were evaluated. For selective detection of Salmonella, anti-Salmonella polycolonal antibody was utilized to capture and stain Salmonella. Quantum dots were attached onto Salmonella in the samples and produced fluorescent light. Fluorescence response of the composite quantum dot was measured with a commercial fluorescence meter. The fluorescence signal starts to increase with the samples in which higher concentration of the cells were contained. The sensitivity of the sensor was 10(6) CFU/mL Salmonella spiked in PBS.

Although cherry tomato is one of major vegetables consumed in fresh vegetable market, the quality grading method is only dependant on size measurement using drum shape sorting machines. Using Visible/Near-infrared spectroscopy, apparatus to be able to acquire transmittance spectrum data was made and used to estimate firmness, sugar content, and acidity of cherry tomatoes grown at hydroponic and soil culture. Partial least square (PLS) models were performed to predict firmness, sugar content, and acidity for the acquired transmittance spectra. To enhance accuracy of the PLS models, several preprocessing methods were carried out, such as normalization, multiplicative scatter correction (MSC), standard normal variate (SNV), and derivatives, etc. The coefficient of determination (R(2)(p)) and standard error of prediction (SEP) for the prediction of firmness, sugar, and acidity of cherry tomatoes from green to red ripening stages were 0.859 and 1.899 kgf, with a preprocessing of normalization, 0.790 and 0.434˚Brix with a preprocessing of the 1st derivative of Savitzky Golay, and 0.518 and 0.229% with a preprocessing normalization, respectively.
