The analysis of the rolling piston rotary compressor was conducted with correlations of flow coefficient for discharge system and the friction coefficient for a vane. The functionalized coefficient models associated with flow coefficient of a discharge system and friction coefficient of a vane were proposed for highly accuracy in the compressor simulation program. The experiments on the vane friction were carried out with the various oil temperatures, forces, and roller speeds. The coefficient of the discharge valve system was determined by CFD simulation with variation of discharge port diameter, valve lift, and valve shape. The functionalized coefficients were applied to numerical compressor simulation and the simulated results varying compressor frequency showed good agreement with experimental data. The flow coefficient and the friction coefficient may improve the precision of compressor performance simulation.
