This sudy compares electricity consumptions of a water-cooled VRF system during cooling season between the constant condensing water flow control and the variable water flow control by the simplified simulation considering variation of the heat rejection at the dry cooler according to the weather data representing 6 cities. The average accumulative electricity amount of 6 cities in the variable water flow control type water-cooled VRF is 11% smaller than the value in the constant water flow type. In the variable water flow control type, the total compressor power consumption in the variable water flow is 1.1% higher than in the constant water flow type. However, the variable water pump showed 57.1% lower electricity consumption totally than the constant water flow type.

In terms of operation profiles and building characteristics, Schools, as public facilities, are one of the most suitable buildings for small scale Renewable energy systems since they have its energy demand on daytime mostly and large open area, roof surface available for the installation of Renewable energy systems such as solar collectors or Photovoltaic pannels. This paper presents a methodology of the feasibility test for Renewable energy systems to be intalled at schools. The methodology is based on the analysis of the demand/supply profiles dynamic matching. a case study is also presented to test the applicability of the proposed assessment methodology.
