Anthracycline 계 항암성 항생물질 DA-125 의 Beagle dog 에 대한 26 주 반복정맥투여독성시험

This study was performed to investigate the toxicity of DA-125 in beagle dogs, an anthracycline antitumor antibiotic. The dogs were administered DA-125 i.v. at 0.0023, 0.0375, 0.15 and 0.6 ㎎/㎏/day, 6 days/week for 26 weeks. At 0.6 ㎎/㎏, all male and female dogs were either sacrificed moribundly or dead during the 26-week treatment. The dogs revealed inactivity, salivation, dark bloody discharge, swelling of the subcutaneous injection site, abscess, and ulceration in the abdominal wall and legs. At 0.15 ㎎/㎏, anorexia, salivation, and swelling of the injection site were observed. The food consumption was decreased with a statistical significance at 6 and 12 weeks treatment in males of 0.6 ㎎/㎏. At 0.0375, 0.15 and 0.6 ㎎/㎏, body weights were decreased significantly in a dose-related fashion after 17 weeks treatment. Total white blood cell counts for male dogs at 0.6 ㎎/㎏ were lower than those of control dogs after 13 weeks treatment, which appeared mainly due to decreased neutrophils. At 0.15 ㎎/㎏, testicular atrophy was found in all males by gross pathology and the testicular weights were significantly decreased when compared to those of control males. Microscopically, the testis showed moderate atrophy of the seminiferous tubules and marked decrease in number of spermatozoa in the epididymal tubules. At 0.6 ㎎/㎏, petechia or echymotic hemorrhage was observed in gastrointestinal tract, heart, lungs, and other organs at the necropsy. Marked atrophy of thymus were observed in both males and females. In addition, severe testicular atrophy was noted in all males. Microscopically, gastrointestinal tract showed hemorrhage, epithelial denudation, hypermucus secretion, and atrophy of intestinal villi. Seminiferous tubules of the atrophic testis were lined with Sertoli cells only and devoid of germ cells. Severe oligospermia or aspermia was present in the epididymal tubules. Bone marrow showed marked depletion of hemopoietic cells. In addition, marked atrophy was found in the lymphoid tissue of gastrointestinal tract, various lymph nodes, and thymus. Injection sites showed marked inflammatory response with necrosis, necrotizing vasculitis, thrombus formation, and ulceration in the skin. According to the present results, no observed effect level appeared to be 0.0375 ㎎/㎏. At 0.15 ㎎/㎏, testis was a target organ, while at 0.6 ㎎/㎏ hemopoietic tissue, gastrointestinal tract, and testis were considered to be target organs. At 0.6 ㎎/㎏ the test compound seems to inflict a damage on the blood vessels causing hemorrhage in the various organs and tissues.

본 논문에서는 임의 형상을 가지는 삼차원 유전체의 전자파 산란을 해석하기 위하여 모멘트법을 이용한 뮬러적분방정식의 새로운 해법을 제안한다. 매질이 균일한 유전체 표면을 평면 삼각형 패치로 모델링 하여, RWG (Rao, Wilton, Glisson)함수를 등가 전기 및 자기 전류밀도의 전개함수로 사용한다. 그리고 RWG 함수와 그 직교함수를 조합한 시험함수를 적용한다. 유전체구에 대하여 제안된 방법으로 계산된 수치 결과를 보이고 다른 공식에 의한 결과와도 비교한다. In this paper, we present a set of numerical schemes to solve the Muller integral equation for the analysis of electromagnetic scattering from arbitrarily shaped three-dimensional dielectric bodies by applying the method of moments(Mon. The piecewise homogeneous dielectric structure is approximated by planar triangular patches. A set of the RWG(Rao, Wilton, Glisson) functions is used for expansion of the equivalent electric and magnetic current densities and a combination of the RWG function and its orthogonal component is used for testing. Numerical results for a dielectric sphere are presented and compared with solutions obtained using other formulations.

After the revision of management law regarding public records and with the establishment of presidential records management law in Korea, the scale and volume of record collection have increased. As the collected records tend to be diverse in nature, the preservation techniques used for the vital national archives have also been reviewed. In this study, the fibrous raw materials of paper used for long term storage of important national archives were investigated. The optimal digestion conditions of domestic white inner layer of paper mulberry and the physical properties of woody and non-woody fibers such as SwBKP, HwBKP, abaca, Samjidak and domestic paper mulberry fibers were examined for machine-made Hanji. Digestion conditions of domestic white inner layer of paper mulberry were efficient for active alkali dosage 10% for 60 minutes in terms of screened yield, brightness, degree of polymerization, and shive content. The physical fiber properties such as average fiber length, fiber length distribution, WRV (Water Retention Value) and chemical composition were evaluated to obtain optimum mixing ratios with domestic paper mulberry fibers. As a result, the mixing ratio of 80% domestic paper mulberry fibers and 20% SwBKP was found to be satisfactory in the mechanical and structural properties of machine-made sheet, in the stable supply and demand of fibrous raw materials, and in the lower cost of production.
경질탄산칼슘의 pigmentizing을 위한 표면강도 증강제 탐색

In the papermaking industry, several studies on greenhouse emission reduction have been subjected. Among the studies, filler loading is the widely used method to reduce greenhouse emission by reducing fiber raw material and drying energy. Especially, precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), as a typical filler, can improve physical and optical properties of paper as well as reduce carbon dioxide by reusing carbon dioxide during its synthesis. However, excessive internal filler loading causes side effect such as weakening of paper strength. In this study, in order to overcome the problems caused by excessive internal filler loading, some of fillers were separately applied to surface of paper as the pigmentizing. The pigmentizing is the technology of adding fillers to surface sizing agent, and carried as same as existed surface sizing process. The pigmentizing technology can increase the filler content without losses of the paper strength, at the same time, improve the optical properties which is decreased after surface sizing process. So in this study, we applied PCC synthesized diverse size and shape to the pigmentizing technology and evaluated surface properties of paper. In addition, in order to overcome dust problem caused by detached filler from surface, several polymers were applied to surface sizing agent and surface strengthening effect was evaluated. As a result, rhombohedral type of PCC was suitable for the pigmentizing in term of surface strength and optical properties. Surface strengthening agents were applied to scalenohedral type of PCC, among them, cationic polyacrylamide and anionic polyacrylamide critically increased the surface strength of pigmentized paper, when the polymers added below the level of flocculation of filler. In case of poly(ethylene oxide), surface strength was increased at the addition amount of 1% on filler, and it did not affect the viscosity of surface sizing agent and the flocculation of filler.
유전체의 과도 산란 해석을 위한 시간영역 결합 적분방정식

In this paper, we propose a tim e dom ain com bined field integral equation (T D - C F IE ) form ulation to analyze the transient electrom agnetic response from three-dim ensional dielectric objects. T he solution m ethod in th is paper is based on the m ethod o f m om ents (M o M ) th a t involves separate spatial and tem poral testing procedures. A set o f the R W G (R ao , W ilto n , G lisson) functions is used for spatial expansion of the equivalent electric and m agnetic current densities and a com bination o f R W G ana its orthogonal com ponent is used as spatial testing. W e also investigate spatial testing procedures for the T D - C F IE to select the proper testing functions th a t are derived from the Laguerre polynom ials. These basis functions are also used for tem poral testing. N um erical results com puted b y the proposed form ulation are presented and com pared w ith the solutions o f the frequency dom ain com bined field integral equation (FD-CFIE).
