This Article describes the Inspection Technologies of main Nuclear Facility in Domestic and Foreign Country. The Inspection of Reactor Vessel has been applying PDI for UT examination since 2005 in Korea. And the Reactor Upper Head has been inspected since 2003 in Korea influenced by the Penetration Nozzle degradation at Oconee NPP in USA. The Inspection of Bottom Head also has been applying since 2006 in Korea influenced by the Leakage of Penetration Nozzle at South Texas Project unit I in USA. The inspection techniques of both Upper head and Bottom head are applied Eddy current Testing for ID surface, and conventional and TOFD Ultrasonic testing for weld and material itself. The Dissimilar Metal Weld Inspection has been issued and performing with conventional UT or Phased Array UT with EPRI POI system for PZR, RCS Piping welds and other welds since 2007 in accordance with MRP-139. The DM welds in PZR at Kori unit 1 were carried out Overlaid welds and inspected using Phase Array UT in 2010, and other DMW using Alloy 600 at PZR will be performed Weld overlay in short future.
