The auricular cartilage grafts have been widely used in replacement of the temporomandibular joint disk. Cartilage grafts itself have a low metabolism and high survival rate after grafting. In processing the grafting materials, it was important to preserve the properties of chondrocyte proper. We used 15% glycerol and 10% DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) solutions for cartilage fixation before deep freezing. We have performed the allogenic auricular cartilage graft in the temporomandibular joint of 20 rabbits which 10 specimen was treated with 15% glycerol and the other 10 specimen was treated with 10% DMSO respectively and examined in 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks after operation histopathologically. The result were : 1. Inflammatory cell infiltration around the grafted material appeared more glycerol groups than DMSO groups at 1 week, but each group has no differences after 2 weeks. 2. Degenerative changes of grafted auricular chondrocytes were more deveolped in glycerol group than DMSO groups till 4 weeks, but there were no differences between two groups after 6 weeks. 3. Fibrous union between grafted fragment and mandibular condyle was prominent in DMSO group. 4. Vascular proliferation of the grafted auricualr cartilage was more developed in DMSO groups than glycerol group in early stage. 5. Amount of the additional growth of grafted auricular cartilage was more existed in DMSO groups than glycerol group. 6. General survival rate after grafting was more prominent in DMSO group. In summary, allogenic auricular cartilage grafts treated with 15% glycerol and 10% DMSO solution have supported to survivalbility as a cryopreservative agents, especially DMSO groups have little inflammatory cell infiltration in early stages and degenerative changes and additional growth are more prominent than glycerol groups.

The present paper discusses the nonlinear wave deformation due to a submerged coastal structure. Theory is based on the frequency-domain method using the third order perturbation and boundary integral method. Theoretical development to the second order perturbation and boundary integral method. Theoretical development to the second order Stokes wave for a bottom-seated submerged breakwater to the sea floor is newly expanded to the third order for a submerged coastal structure shown in Figure 1. Validity is demonstrated by comparing numerical results with the experimental ones of a rectangular air chamber structure, which has the same dimensions as that of this study. Nonlinear waves become larger and larger with wave propagation above the crown of the structure, and are transmitted to the onshore side of the structure. These characteristics are shown greatly as the increment of Ursell number on the structure. The total water profile depends largely on the phase lag among the first, second and third order component waves.
화물운송정보체계를 위한 GIS/GPS기반 AVL시스템 적용방안

본 논문에서는 화물운송체계에 GIS/GPS 기반의 AVL을 적용하기 위한 핵심요소기술을 검토하고, 시스템 구성대안을 설정하였다. 또한 시스템 구성대안들을 Life-Cycle Cost 분석을 통하여 평가하였다. 기본가정 및 비용단가에 의한 분석결과 개별차량의 무선통신비용의 부담이 노변통신시설의 유지보수 비용에 비해 전체 LCCE에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 무선통신대안이 상대적으로 고비용의 시스템 구성안인 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 여러 가지 요인에 따른 민감도 분석결과 노변시설의 설치간격, 무선통신비용단가의 하락 등을 가정할 경우 무선통신대안이 운영측면의 경제성을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다. 무선통신대안과 노변통신대안 모두 각각의 장단점을 갖고 있으므로 지역적 특성 내지는 교통시설의 특성에 따라 혼합적용하는 방안이 검토되어야 한다. 본 연구는 GIS/GPS-AVL의 화물운송체계 적용시 시스템구성요소 및 구축방향을 결정하는데 도움을 줄 것이다. In this paper, essential technological elements for applying GIS and GPS based AVL system to the logistics information area were reviewed. Then system alternatives were evaluated using Life-Cycle Cost Analysis. In the basic scenario, the roadside infrastructure alternative is turned out to be more efficient that the other. The sensitivity analysis shows that under the different conditions and unit costs, the wireless communication alternative can be more economical. Mixed approach based on characteristics of transportation facilities should be considered.

Statement of problem : Clinically, maxillary first premolar has a high risk of fracture. This is thought to be caused by the susceptible figure which the maxillary first premolar has In other words, sharp cusp angles of the premolar is thought to influence this situation. Purpose : This study was to know stress distribution of all-ceramic crown according to the cusp angle. Material and Method : It was manufactured a three dimensional finite element model simplified maxillary first premolar, and then analyzed stress distribution when cusp angle was each $80^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, $100^{\circ}$, $110^{\circ}$ and $120^{\circ}$. Results and conclusion : 1. The von Misses stress showed that stress decreases as cusp angle increases in the central groove of the occlusal surface. 2. It showed that maximum principal stress was centered at the region of the central groove of the occlusal surface and a region which the force was inflicted. And also it appeared high on the lingual and buccal side of finish line. 3. The X axis of normal stress was focused in the central groove of the occlusal surface. The Y axis normal stress appeared high in the central groove of the occlusal surface, buccal and lingual side. 4. The Stress near the finish line showed a low value compared with stress in the region of the central groove of the occlusal surface. 5. It shows that the most dangerous angle for tooth fracture was on $80^{\circ}$ of the cusp angle and low on $120^{\circ}$ of its.
