To optimize the immunological efficacy of CFC-101, an outer-membrane protein vaccine purified from relatively less pathogenic 4 different Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains, we investigated to establish its dose, administration route, interval and frequency of vaccination in mice. As expected, the 4 CFC-101 producing strains were less pathogenic than the challenging organism, P. aeruginosa GN11189. CFC-101 completely protected the death caused by P. aeruginosa at above 0.05 mg/kg vaccinized by 3 times with 7-day intervals. At the optimally effective dose of 0.2 mg/kg of CFC-101, at least 3 immunizations were necessary for complete protection against P. aeruginosa-induced death. If immunized 3 times, the immunization interval could be shortened up to 2 days to acquire the best protection against P. aeruginosa. CFC-101 was effective either by intraperitoneal, subcutaneous or intramuscular but not by oral administration. The present results show that the newly developed Pseudomonas vaccine, CFC-101, is highly effective for the protection from death caused by pseudomonal infections.

The treatment of pseudomonal infection is a perplexed problem because of its modest susceptibility to most of the major antibiotics. A novel Pseudomonas vaccine(CFC-101) was prepared from the outer membrane protein fractions of several Pseudomonas strains. In this study, we examined CFC-101`s effectiveness in both active and passive immunization models. CFC-101 in mice at 0.2 mg/kg, i.p., given three times at two-day intervals, completely prevented the death caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Antibody titer, in accordance with the protective effect in this active immunization, was elevated to its peak level following three consecutive administrations of CFC-101. Thereafter, antibody titer stayed at a constantly high level. Each outer membrane protein fraction from the four CFC-101 producers, exhibited good cross-protective effects in mouse infection models against different Fisher types of P. aeruginosa. In the passive immunization model, 21∼336 ㎍/㎏ of anti-rabbit IgG to CFC-101, when mice being infected with a challenge strain, prevented the Pseudomonas-induced death up to 60%. Therefore, the preventive effect of CFC-101 was verified in both the active and passive immunization models.
현상확산계수지도, 확산강조 영상, T2강조 MR영상 및 T1강조 MR영상에서 온조직 병리영상에 근거한 계층적 자동 전립선암 검출

본 논문에서는 PI-RADS v2에 따른 진단 절차를 고려한 계층적 SVM 분류를 통해 전립선 주변부에서 자동으로 전립선암을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 첫째, 다중 파라메터 MR영상 간 전립선의 위치적 변형을 보정하기 위해 강체정합을 수행하고, 환자 간 동일 파라메터 MR영상에서 일관성 있는 특징벡터를 추출하기 위해 전립선 주변부의 밝기값 히스토그램 정규화를 수행한다. 둘째, 각 MR영상에서 93개씩의 히스토그램 및 텍스쳐 특징벡터를 추출하고 ReliefF와 tSNE를 통해 전립선암과 정상조직간 분별력이 높은 특징벡터를 선별한다. 셋째, 각 MR영상으로부터 선별된 특징벡터를 사용하여 전립선암 분류를 위한 SVM 모델을 훈련시키고 진단 절차를 고려하여 계층적으로 전립선암을 검출한다. 실험은 단일잔류 교차검증으로 수행하였다. 제안방법의 정확도는 T2강조 MR영상을 단독으로 사용하여 전립선암을 검출하였을 때보다 25.63%p 향상시킬 수 있었고, T1강조 MR영상을 추가로 고려하였을 때 T2강조 MR영상을 단독으로 사용하였을 때 보다 위양성율을 47.20%p 감소시킬 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose a method to automatically detect prostate cancer in the peripheral zone by hierarchical Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification considering the diagnostic procedure according to Prostate Imaging Reporting And Data System version 2 (PI-RADS v2). First, to align the positional deformation of the prostate on multi-parametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging (mpMRI), rigid registration among the Diffusion Weighted MR Image (DWI), Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) map, and T2-weighted MR (T2wMR) image is performed. Then, in order to extract consistent features in each image among the inter-patients, the signal intensity range is normalized via histogram stretching. Second, 93 histogram and texture features are extracted from each MRI and the features with high discrimination power between prostate cancer and normal tissue were then selected using ReliefF and tSNE. Third, the SVM model for prostate cancer classification is trained by selected features from each mpMRI. The prostate cancer is then hierarchically detected by considering the diagnostic procedure. Experiments were performed using leave-one-out cross-validation. The accuracy of the proposed method was improved by 25.63%p compared to the detection of prostate cancer using T2wMR alone. When T1wMR was additionally considered, the False Positive Rate (FPR) was decreased by 47.20%p compared to when T2wMR was considered alone.

본 논문에서는 대학 인트라넷시스템 개발을 위한 사용자시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 기업 업무 처리 중심의 기존 상업용 인트라넷시스템을 개선하여, 대학 업무 처리 중심의 대학 인트라넷시스템 개발에 주안점을 두었다. 이를 위해 본 시스템에서는 대학 전만상의 주된 사용자층인 교수와 학생간에 필요한 교육 정보를 효율적으로 교환할 수 있는 기능과 비전문가들도 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 본 시스템을 통하여 문서 정보 위주의 학사행정 업무를 WWW상에서 처리하여 인력, 시간 및 경비 절약을 기대할 수 있다.
고등학생의 한의약 의료 이용 형태 및 인식에 관한 연구

Objectives : This study is to research on usage patterns, recognition of system to Korean medicine among high school students who are the potential future medical consumer. Methods : Based on the questionnaire used by KIHASA(Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs) in 2011 and KHIDI(Korea Health Industry Development Institute) in 2014, modifications were made to make questionnaire more suitable for this research. This self-administered questionnaire was conducted among 1,025 highschool students of 3 high schools in Ulsan city on september, 2015. Except 19 cases which considered statistically insignificant or with unreliable responses, 1,007 cases were analyzed by p-paired test and ANOVA test through the SPSS 22.0 for Win program. Results : Most of the high school students(66.5%) do not have an experience on Korean medical care. The number of students' first experience on Korean medical care is the largest during their elementary school (34.9%), which means the treatment was mostly for restorative reasons like growth care. The later the time of their first experience on Korean medical care, the higher ratio was shown on their recent utilization of Korean medical care. Korean medicine was rarely covered in most cases of public health education at school, and this public health education and usage pattern on Korean medicine have positive correlation. Compared 'Group who have used Korean medical care in 1 years except recent 3 months' to the 'Group who have used Korean medical care in 3 recent months', the former showed higher recognition in Korean medical care and insurance system. Conclusions : The proportion of Korean medicine is as low as 4.5% to whole medical market, and most of the consumers are senior. In addition, the aging phenomenon of Korean medical consumer have been continued. This specialized study on usage patterns and recognition among youth can be the basic research data which can be used for promotion, education and establishment of health policy and health care system.

There are several approaches to calculate a sample size for bioequivalence test. Among these approaches, sample sizes determination based on Schuirmann's two one-sided tests procedures has been used most popularly in case of 2${\times}$2 bioequivalence study. Here we proposed simple sample size table for conventional 2${\times}$2 bioequivalence test based on Schuirmann's two one-sided tests in accordance with Korean Guidelines for Bioequivalence Test. This table will allow researchers with a little statistical background to calculate the sample size for bioequivalence with easy process.

본 논문에서는 대학 인트라넷시스템의 중추적인 기능을 담당하는 관리시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 관리시스템에서는 인트라넷시스템의 효율적인 유지 보수를 위하여 사용자 관리, 코드 관리, 게시판 관리 등과 같은 모든 관리 기능을 WWW상에서 구현하여 누구라도 쉽게 시스템을 관리할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 다단계 보안 기법을 통하여 관리시스템 자체의 보안 기능을 강화하였다. 또한 클라이언트/서버 환경으로 구축된 기존 대학 정보시스템과의 호환성도 고려하였다.

Vibrion vulnificus is an estuarine gram0negative human pathogen that affects people with chronic hepatitis, alcoholic cirrhosis, diabetes mellitus or other underlying diseases, V. vulnificus infection is mediated primarily by consumption of raw fish or by exposure of pre-existing wounds to seawater, causing permanent tissue damages or fatal septic shock. We have been developing a vaccine against V. vulnificus composed of whole cell lysate of a V. vulnificus O-antigen serotype 4 strain. Oral administration of the V. vulnificus vaccine elicited a high serum antibody response in rabbits. The induced antibodies were reactive not only to the homologous strain but also to heterologous O-antigen serotype strains, indicating cross-reactivities among serotypes. Western blot analysis revealed that the antibodies are mainly specific for outer membrane proteins (OMPs) and reacted equally well with OPMs purified from 9 O-antigen serotypes The rabbit antisera showed opsonophagocytic killing activity against heterologous strains as well as the homologous strain. Passively transferred rabbit antisera into mice were protective against a lethal V. vulnificus infection. These data demonstrate that oral administration of the V. vulnificus infections, suggesting that this vaccine preparation could be used to develop an oral vaccine against V. vulnificus.
