        기저판의 탄성에 따른 유연촉각센서의 성능변화 연구

        Tactile sensors and integrated circuits that detect external stimuli have been developed for use in various industries. Most tactile sensors have been developed using the MEMS(micro electro-mechanical systems) process in which metal electrodes and strain sensors are applied to a silicon substrate. However, tactile sensors made of highly brittle silicon lack flexibility and are prone to damage by external forces. Flexible tactile sensors based on polydimethylsiloxane and using a multi-walled carbon nano-tube mixture as a pressure-sensitive material are currently being developed as an alternative to overcome these limitations. In this study, a manufacturing process of pressure-sensitive materials with low initial electrical resistance is developed and applied to the fabrication of flexible tactile sensors. In addition, flexible tactile sensors are developed with pressure-sensitive materials dispensed on a substrate with flexible mechanical properties. Finally, a study is conducted on the change in electrical resistance of pressure-sensitive materials according to the modulus of elasticity of the substrate.

        요통 침치료를 위한 경혈 선정에 관한 체계적 문헌 고찰

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to figure out which acupoints are selected to treat low back pain and attempt to analyze the effectiveness of those acupoints in current clinical trials. Methods: We searched the three electronic databases(PUBMED, RISS, KISS) and manually checked related Korean journals and reference lists up to April 2012. We included randomized controlled trials, clinical controlled trials, and case reports/series using needle type acupuncture(manual acupuncture, electronic acupuncture) to treat low back pain in English and Korean. We investigated the frequency of selected acupoints, change of visual analogue scale of low back pain and statistical significance in each study among trials. Results: We included 37 articles(Domestic 17, International 20) 53 studies(Domestic 28, International 25) in this study. The most frequently adopted acupoints were BL23, BL24, BL25, GB30, BL26, BL60, BL32, BL40, KI3, GV3, ST36 in domestic studies and BL23, BL25, BL40, BL60, GB30, GB34, BL32, BL26 in international studies. There were differential effectiveness of acupoints between domestic and the international studies using statistical significance of visual analog scale for low back pain. Conclusions: These results suggest that both proximal and distal acupoints based on meridian theory were used in clinical trials to treat low back pain. It would be helpful to provide clinical guideline, evaluate the results of clinical trials appropriately, and reveal the effectiveness of acupoints.

        자율신경 활성도와 비만 여성 침치료 효과의 상관성 연구

        Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the effects of acupuncture treatment and heart rate variability (HRV) in pre-menopausal obese women. Methods Thirty-seven obese women who met the inclusion criteria were recruited. To estimate the effects of acupuncture, obesity indices, such as body weight (BW), waist circumference (WC), hip circumference (HC), and the waist-hip ratio (WHR), were measured before and after the treatment. The HRV test was conducted before treatment and analyzed using the frequency domain method. Results The lnLF/HF ratio (natural logarithm of low frequency power/high frequency power ratio of the HRV value) before treatments was negatively correlated with differences in WC, HC, and WHR during treatment. The correlation coefficients between the lnLF/HF ratio and the differences in WC, HC, and WHR were r=-0.459 (p<0.01), r=-0.327 (p<0.05), and r=-0.339 (p<0.05) respectively. Conclusions As the baseline ratio of sympathetic activity to parasympathetic activity decreases, WC, HC, and WHR reduction significantly increased during treatment. Further study is needed to uncover the relationship between obesity-related variables and the autonomic nervous system to predict the effect of acupuncture. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2016;26(4):85-96)

        국내 단일기관에서 시행한 췌장이식의 임상적인 결과

        Background/Aims: Pancreas transplantation (PT) as the ultimate treatment for insulin-dependent diabetes has been the subject of debate clinically. Marked improvements in patient and graft survival, and decreases in postoperative morbidity have been achieved due to technical refinements, improved immunosuppressants, and better postoperative management. Here, we report our 18-year experience with PT performed at our institute. Methods: All recipients who underwent deceased donor or living donor PT between July 1992 and December 2009 were included. We reviewed the medical records, including operation records, progress, and laboratory findings during follow-up. Graft and patient survival were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results: In total, 119 cases of pancreas transplantation were performed between July 1992 and December 2009 at our institute. Indications for pancreas transplantation were type I diabetes in 93 (78.2%) patients and type II diabetes in 16 (13.4%) patients. The transplanted pancreas was obtained from a deceased donor in 108 cases (90.8%) and a living donor in 11 cases (9.2%). Median follow-up duration was 39.3 months posttransplantation (range 0~176 months). Overall graft survival rates at 1, 5, and 10 years were 81.6%, 63.4%, and 57.1%, respectively. Following the introduction of tacrolimus as an immunosuppressant in 1999, graft survival at 1, 5, and 10 years was 89.1%, 72.9%, and 66.2%, and overall patient survival at 1, 5, and 10 years was 93.0%, 86.0%, and 86.%, respectively. Conclusions: Considering the quality of life and long-term patient survival, PT is an effective treatment strategy in non-obese diabetic patients requiring insulin regardless of the type of diabetes.         미세배열법을 이용한 임신 중 1.765 GHz 마이크로파에 노출된 생쥐의 난소 유전자 발현분석

        Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects on murine fetal ovarian gene expression of prenatal exposure to 1.765 GHz of microwave irradiation. Methods: Ten pregnant ICR mice were divided into two groups. At 5th days after mating, dam mice were exposed to microwave (SAR: 0.38~1.71 W/kg) in the insulated cage for 8 hours each day. The remaining mice were treated in the same way. Neonatal ovaries were removed for study 7 days after delivery. Microarray analysis was performed using total RNA extracted from the removed ovaries. We investigated the differences in ovarian gene expression between the groups. SPSS 12.0 was used for statistical analysis. P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results: The mean birth weight of the offspring in the irradiated group was significantly lower than that in the sham group (1.54±0.22 g vs. 1.60±0.21 g, P=0.012). The mean number of offspring per pregnancy in the irradiated group was significantly higher than in the sham group (13.60±0.70 vs. 11.40±2.17, P=0.009). We detected that in the irradiated ovaries, 14 genes were expressed at levels 2-fold higher than in the sham ovaries and 74 genes were expressed at levels 2-fold lower than in the sham ovaries. Conclusion: We found differences in fetal ovarian gene expression between the irradiated and sham groups. In the irradiated group, the Tnfaip8, TNFsf 12, Cfd, CCL 11, and Zfp74 genes were down-regulated and the Brd 3 gene was up-regulated.

        임신 중 마이크로파에 노출된 새끼 생쥐의 난소 유전자의 세대간 전달

        Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate generational accumulation of murine fetal ovarian genes following prenatal exposure to 1.765-GHz microwave radiation. Methods: A 1.765-GHz microwave generator was used. Twenty pregnant ICR mice were divided into two groups: the microwave-exposed experimental (irradiated) group, and the sham-exposed (sham) group. On the fifth day post-mating, dam mice were exposed to microwave irradiation in the insulated cage for 8 hours each day. The remaining mice were treated in the same way. Second generation mice were raised for 8 weeks then classified into four groups for examination. We removed the neonatal ovaries on the seventh day after the third delivery. We investigated the expression of six genes in the ovaries: Tnfaip 8, TNFsf 12, Cfd, CCL 11, Zfp 74, and Brd 3. Real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction was performed using total RNA extracted from the removed ovaries. Results: In the third-generation offspring, we detected some differences in ovarian gene expression between the first group and the fourth. Expression of CCL 11, and TNFsf 12 was decreased in the first group compared to the fourth group. Expression of Tnfaip 8, brd 3, Cfd, and Zfp 74 was higher in the first group than in the fourth group. We found differing results when we compared ovarian gene expression in mice of the second generation with those of the third. Conclusion: The results suggest that there is no generational accumulation of murine ovarian genes in offspring exposed to 1.765-GHz microwaves in the uterus.

      • 모바일 기기의 이동 진동 표현 연구

        최근의 모바일 기기들이 다양한 진동 패턴을 제공하면서 모바일 기기에서의 촉감 제공과 관련된 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구에서는 특정 메시지를 추상적인 진동 패턴으로 상징화 시킬 뿐 현실적인 촉감 제공에 관한 연구는 많지 않다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 기기에서 보다 현실적인 촉감 제공을 위한 진동 패턴에 대해 논의하고, 압전 액츄에이터를 사용하여 스크롤 상황을 그대로 표현할 수 있는 진동 패턴을 제작하였다. 그리고 스크롤 상황을 표현하는 여러 가지 진동 패턴과 진동의 이동 시간에 따라 느낌 평가 및 스크롤 방향에 대한 인식률 평가를 실시하였다. 평가 결과 12 가지의 스크롤 방향에 대해 80% 이상의 인식률을 보였고, 여러 가지 스크롤 패턴 형태와 스크롤 진동의 이동 시간에 따라 다양한 스크롤 촉감을 가질 수 있다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 앞으로 모바일 기기에서 좀 더 현실적인 촉감 제공이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

        This paper describes preliminary discussions on manufacture of a He-Ne laser and investigation of output characteristics. The He-Ne laser which is to be manufactured is what is the most common wavelength λ=632.8[nm] transition in the red portion of the spectrum. The output characteristics as various parameters, such as gas mixture ratio, gas pressure, discharge current, resonator length, and the efficiency characteristic as a input power will be investigated.

        미술치료를 위한 컴퓨터 심리진단 장치

        본 논문에서는 미술치료 이론을 기반으로 하는 아동심리 진단용 컴퓨터 장치를 제안하고 그에 대한 연구 결과를 소개하고자 한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 진단 대상 아동이 그린 그림으로부터 색상과 관련된 요소뿐만 아니라 사용된 선의 특성, 필압(pen pressure), 그림의 위치, 크기 등의 다양한 정보를 컴퓨터로 구현된 장치를 이용하여 측정하며, 측정 후 분석된 결과를 기반으로 치료사에게 치료 대상자에 대한 보다 많은 유용한 정보를 제공하여 진단의 신뢰성을 높이고자 한다. 미술치료는 근본적으로 진단 대상자의 그림을 평가하는 치료사의 주관이 개입될 수 있다는 단점이 존재한다. 대상자의 그림으로부터 어떤 정보를 어떻게 추출할 것인지부터 추출된 정보로부터 대상자의 심리상태에 대한 해석에 이르기까지 전적으로 치료사가 어떤 이론을 적용하는지에 따라 달라지며, 치료사의 학문적 깊이에 따라서도 달라지게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 여러 정보 중에 ‘무엇’을 치료 대상자의 그림에서 얻어낼 수 있는지와 ‘어떻게’ 읽어낼 것인지를 알아보고, 치료 대상자의 심리 상태를 객관적으로 판단하기 위한 기준을 마련하는데 유용한 시스템을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 컴퓨터를 기반으로 한 심리진단용 시스템을 제안하며, 대상자가 제안된 장치에 그리게 되는 그림을 통해 주제 색, 선의 특성, 필압, 그림의 위치 등의 의미 있는 데이터를 추출해 내며 이를 수치화함으로써, 미술심리치료 분석에 새로운 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. In this paper, we propose a computerized psychological test system for art therapy. The proposed system with the computerized devices can measure various information, such as colors, characters of lines, pen pressure, size of objects, position of objects, and so on, from the drawn pictures by the child. The measured information can be analyzed to extract more meaningful information about the child and to provide more effective remedial information for art therapy. Art therapy essentially has a potential drawback that the results of test can be influenced by therapist’s subjectivity. The results can be different from the method of gathering information, the method of analysis, the interpretation of analyzed data, and even the therapist’s academic backgrounds. Therefore, in this paper, we focus on what information needs to be measured and how to measure the data from drawn pictures and propose a computerized psychological test system for art therapy. The proposed system can measure and analyze various information from the drawn picture by the child. Since the proposed system can provide valuable psychological information of child in the form of quantitative data, it can be exploited as a new method for art therapy.

        한방의료기관의 온열 치료 기기 활용 현황 및 개발 수요에 대한 조사 연구

        Objectives : This study investigated the current utilization status of thermotherapy devices in Korean medicine (KM) institutions and identified areas for improvement and further development, as perceived by KM doctors (KMDs). Methods : An online survey was conducted, targeting KMDs primarily engaged in clinical patient care. The questionnaire included items about respondents’ clinical practices, the extent of thermotherapy device usage, their opinions on these devices, and perceived improvement needs. The collected data underwent quantitative analysis. Results : From the 1,025 respondents, data from 862 respondents who provided complete responses were analyzed. On average, respondents utilized thermotherapy treatments for 80% of their patients. Infrared (IR) phototherapy unit, electrical moxibustion apparatus, and heater-based thermotherapy devices were predominantly owned by respondents, with IR being the most frequently used. The average satisfaction score for current thermotherapy devices was 79. A significant concern raised was the necessity for improved health insurance coverage and efficacy evaluation. Conclusions : This research has confirmed that the extensive use of thermotherapy devices by KMDs in treating primarily musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal ailments - common conditions among patients in KM institutions. The main areas identified for improvement encompass safety, cost-effectiveness, and device efficacy. Future enhancements in thermotherapy devices should address these crucial aspects.
