오늘날 우리 사회에 배분적 정의가 필요한 이유가 무엇이고, 존재하는 합의된 개념으로서의 배분적 정의의 기준은 무엇이며, 현실적으로 어떻게 적용할 수 있겠는가에 대해서 배분적 정의론이 어떠한 해결책을 제시하고 있는지에 대해서 살펴볼 필요성이 있다. 자유방임주의적 자본주의는 많은 문제점들을 내포하고 있다. 따라서 모든 것을 자유에 의지하는 자유주의나 어느 경우에 있어서나 최대만족만 산출할 수 있다면 올바른 분배가 된다는 공리주의는 타당할 수가 없다. 바꾸어 말하면 소수 또는 약자의 권리를 뺏는 것이 다수가 누리게 될 가치를 정당화할 수는 없는 것이다. 그렇다고 하여 부의 분배가 반드시 균등해야 할 필요는 없으나, 그것은 모든 사람에게 이익이 되도록 이루어 져야 하며, 사회적 불평등이 형식적 기회균등을 통한 무차별적인 평등의 관철이 아니라 권한을 갖는 직위와 명령을 내릴 수 있는 직책이 공정한 기회 균등의 조건아래 누구에게나 접근 가능한 것이어야 한다는 것이다. 그러나 현대사회에서 개인의 노력을 통한 세속적 성공은 우리의 자격을 나타낼 수밖에 없고, 그러한 측면에서 분배의 정의가 도덕적 자격에서 완전히 분리될 수는 없다. 이러한 측면에서 우리 헌법상의 사회국가원리의 해석에 있어서는 절차적 정의에 입각하여 공공의 규칙에 따라 협동체제의 정의에 바탕을 두고 그것에 참여하는 사회성원들이 상호신뢰를 갖도록 하는 것이 중요할 것이다. 즉, 진정한 기회균등을 달성하기 위해서라도 국가는 공정한 기회평등의 기치아래 동등한 능력과 의욕(혹은 동기)을 가진 사람들은 동등한 삶의 전망을 가질 수 있도록 사회성원들에 대한 교육 및 훈련의 기회를 제공하여야 할 것이며, 사회는 호혜성과 박애의 기치아래 천부적으로 혜택을 받은 지배층 혹은 기술 지배적 엘리트계층들은 불리한 지위에 있는 피지배층 혹은 빈곤계층에서 태어난 성원들을 위해 그들의 자질을 사용하는 것이 보다 바람직할 것이다. It is needed to examine why distributive justice is needed in our society today, what the criterion of distributive justice as an existing agreed concept is, and what solution the theory of distributive justice suggests on how to apply it in reality. Capitalism of laissez-faire has many issues. Therefore, liberalism, which depends on liberty for everything, and utilitarianism, which says that a right distribution can be done if only maximum satisfaction can be produced in any case, cannot be valid. In other words, robbing a minority or a weak person of their rights cannot justify the values that the majority will enjoy. However, distribution of wealth does not need to be always equal. But, it must be done to be profits for everyone. It is not that indiscriminate equality must be attained through formal equality of opportunity but that posts with authority and positions with power to order must be something anyone can access under the condition of fair equality of opportunity. However, worldly success through an individual’s efforts in the modern society cannot help showing our qualifications, and in this sense, distributive justice cannot be completely separated from ethical qualifications. In this connection, it must be important to interpret the social state principles (sozialstaatsprinzip) in the Korea Constitution based on the justice of cooperative systems according to the rules of public on the basis of procedural justice for members of society who participate in it to have mutual trust. That is, in order to achieve a true equal opportunity, the nation must provide an opportunity of education and training to members of society for those who have equal ability and will (or motivation) to have an equal prospect of life under the banner of equal opportunity. In the society, it will be more desirable for the dominant class or technical elite class who have benefitted innately to use their talents for the subjugated class or the poor strata who are in an unfavorable position under the banner of reciprocity and fraternity.

임베디드 리눅스 운영체제는 전형적인 임베디드 시스템 중의 하나인 휴대폰 환경에도 적용될 수 있다. 실제로 최근 휴대폰 제조사들이 휴대폰에 리눅스를 채택하기 시작하면서 리눅스 기반의 운영체제를 탑재한 휴대폰이 다수 개발되어 휴대폰 시장에서 꾸준한 성장 추세를 이어가고 있다. 임베디드 리눅스를 휴대폰 환경에 적용하기 위해서는 몇 가지 기술적인 요구사항들이 고려되어야 하며, 대표적으로 리눅스 시스템 크기에 대한 경량화가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 리눅스를 휴대폰 환경에 적용하기 위한 구체적인 경량화 기법들을 제시하고 각 기법을 휴대폰 리눅스 플랫폼 환경에 적용하여 커널과 루트 파일 시스템 각각의 ROM, RAM 사용량 측면에서 그 효과를 검증해 본다.
