Oxindoles(6a-g) are obtained by rhodium(Ⅱ)-catalyzed Wolff rearrangement of diazoquinolinediones in moderate yields. Treatment of 6a-g oxindole derivatives reacted with CAN in acetonitrile at room temperature to gave 7a-g isatins in good yields. The structures of these compound were identified by MP, IR and NMR-spectra.
Ag<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>/Celite를 이용한 3,4-다이하이드로-2H-피란 유도체들의 합성

An efficient synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrans is achieved by Ag<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>/celite mediated reaction of 1,3- dicarbonyl compounds with vinyl ether in moderate yields. This method has been applied to the synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyranochromens and 3,4-dihydro-2H-benzochromen. 3,4-Dihydro-2H-pyranochromens were easily converted to 4H-pyranochromens by elimination of ethoxy group. The structures of these compound were identified by IR and <sup>1</sup>H NMR-Spectra.
Cerium(IV) Ammonium Nitrate를 이용한 Spiroannulated 다이하이드로퓨란 화합물의 합성

An efficient synthesis of spiroannulated dihydrofurans is achieved from 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and exocyclic alkenes in the presence of cerium ammonium nitrate(IV) in moderate yields. In the case of entries 3-9, as a single product was seen. Especially, reaction of 15 with methylenecyclohexane afforded the two regioisomeric cyclo adducts 21 and 22. The structures of these adducts were confirmed by IR and NMR-Spectra.
신이화(辛夷花, Magnoliae Flos)추출물의 화장품약리활성 및 항염증효과에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 신이화에 함유된 물질을 열수와 에탄올을 이용하여 추출한 후 화장품약리활성 및 항염증효과를 확인하고, 화장품 및 바이오산업에 적용하기 위한 천연소재로써의 이용 가능성을 살펴보았다. DPPH 라디칼 소거능 실험결과 농도의존적으로 소거능 효과를 보이며, 열수추출물의 경우 5,000 ㎍/㎖ 농도에서 대조군인 BHA보다 우수한 효능을 보였다. SOD 유사활성에서는 농도가 증가할수록 유사활성이 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 5,000 ㎍/㎖에서 열수추출물의 경우 85% 유사활성을 나타내었고, 에탄올 추출물의 경우 43%의 유사활성을 나타내었다. Xanthine oxidase 저해능 실험에서도 5,000 ㎍/㎖ 농도에서 대조군 BHA 보다 높은 저해능을 효여 우수한 항산화효과를 보였으며, 합성항산화제를 대체할 수 있는 천연항산화제로 사용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다. 항염증효과를 확인하기 위하여 NO 저해 활성 및 iNOS 발현량을 측정하였는데, 열수와 에탄올 추출물 모두 농도가 증가할 수로 NO 저해활성과 iNOS 발현량이 감소하여 우수한 항염증효과를 보였다. 이상의 결과에서 신이화열수추출물과 에탄올추출물은 우수한 화장품약리활성 및 항염증효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 안티에이징 및 트러블 피부 개선 화장품 소재로서의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. Existing pharmaceutical studies show that Magnolia biondii is effective in treating rhinitis and in reducing cholesterol, given its endogenous, volatile ingredients. The study herein seeks to assess the cosmeceutical activities and anti-inflammatory activities of Magnolia biondii extracts for possible application as cosmetic ingredients. The cosmeceutical and anti-inflammatory activities were investigated using hydroxyl radical scavenging, superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity, xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibition, cell viability, nitric oxide (NO) inhibition, and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression by Western blotting. Magnolia biondii extracts were identified to have antioxidant activities in hydroxyl free radical scavenging, SOD-like activity, and XO inhibition. In testing the anti-inflammatory activities of the extracts, NO production was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner. Additionally, in a dose-dependent manner, the Magnolia biondii extracts were able to suppress iNOS expression in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophage cells. From these results, Magnolia biondii showed adequate potential for application in cosmetic production and related industries as well as a functional material.
단신 : 산화첨가반응의 수득률에 미치는 용매효과에 관한 이론적 연구

본 연구에서는 1,3-dicarbonyl 화합물과 올레핀 화합물의 산화첨가반응에서 Ag2CO3/celite (SC)를 촉매로 하여 1,3-cycleohexandion (1,3-CHD)과 ethyl vinyl ether (EVE)를 acetonitrile (AN), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), benzene (BZ), heptane (HT)을 각각 용매로 하여 반응을 진행시켜 보았다. 그 결과 수득률이 78, 40, 15, 10%로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 용매의 효과에 따른 수득률의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 하이퍼캠의 반경험적 방법으로 PM3와 ZINDO/1 파라미터를 이용하여 이론적 고찰을 해 보았다. In present work, oxidative addition reaction of 1,3-cycleohexandion (1,3-CHD) with ethyl vinyl ether (EVE) was attempted utilizing Ag2CO3/celite (SC) reagent. In order to optimize reaction conditions, we surveyed several solvents for the production of dihydrofuran with the (SC) system. The yield of the acetonitrile (AN), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), benzene (BZ), and heptane (HT) are given 78, 40, 15, and 10%, respectively. Therefore, we studied the solvent effects on yields by using PM3 and ZINDO/1 parameter of semi-empirical method of HyperChem7.0 molecular modeling program.
천연복합물(상황버섯, 감초, 병풀)의 항산화 및 세포독성에 관한 연구

The aim of the study was to assess the anti-oxidant activity and cell proliferation of herb complex (Phellinus linteus, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer and Centella asiatica) and it is possible that can be used as a cosmetic ingredient for application of cosmetic industries. The anti-oxidant activity was determined by using DPPH radical inhibition activity, superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity, ABTS radical inhibition activity, hydrogen peroxide inhibition activity. In the antioxidant activities, DPPH radical inhibition activity test of herb complex showed over 80% at 100 ppm concentration and similar to BHA as a positive control at over 50 ppm. The result of SOD-like activity showed 65% at 500 ppm concentration. In the test of ABTS radical inhibition activity, herb complex showed over 80% at 50 ppm concentration. The results of cell viability assay showed that the extracts from herb complex were not cytotoxic at concentration below 1,000 ppm. Hydrogen peroxide inhibition activity of herb complex was 60% at 100 ppm concentration. It was higher then that of ascorbic acid. In this study, anti-oxidant activity and cell proliferation of herb complex were confirmed to investigate for utilization as a cosmetic ingredients.

This study provides the optimal conditions treating with the coagulation process and the other chemical treatment processes for dyeing wastewater, especially various dyeing complex wastewater. The results are shown as follows: 1. Optimum reaction condition of pH for ferrous sulfate was the range of 9 to 12. And when 3,000ppm(㎎/l) of ferrous sulfate was dosed, the maximum COD<sub>M</sub>n removal rate was approximately 40%. 2. In case of ferrous chloride and Bittern as coagulants, optimum pH range was 10 to 11. And maximum COD<sub>M</sub>n removal rate was approximately 46% to 50% for dose of 2,000ppm(㎎/l) to 6,000 ppm. 3. It is confirmed that the activated sludge process following coagulation precipitation method provides better treatment efficiency than the coagulation precipitation method following the activated sludge process. 4. The purpose of this study was to produce CGF (Cyanoguanidineformaldehyde resin) by organic compounds. 5. The complex coagulation agent by this study is the most economical coagulant with Alum(aluminum sulfate) and the removal efficiency is approximately 54% with 1,000ppm(㎎/l) of pH range 6 to 7.
