This paper presents the performance and test results of propulsion system which is met the requirements of urban MAGLEV. The design of propulsion system should be considered the effect of attractive force by the magnetic levitation and train running resistance. In this paper, the tractive and braking thrust are calculated and the train performance is simulated for the service track. Finally the test results of complete car are shown to verify the performance.

전동차의 소비전력(Energy Consumption)은 유지보수 비용 절감 및 온실가스 배출 규제 대응을 위한 중요한 요인으로 본 연구에서는 전동차의 주요 전력 소모 장치인 추진 제어장치의 소비전력에 영향을 미치는 중량, 효율, 주행저항, 구배저항, 곡선저항, 출발저항 및 관성질량 등의 요인을 TPS(모의 주행 시뮬레이션) 및 성능 계산을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 차량의 주요 장치와 서비스 기기에 전원을 공급하는 보조전원장치의 부하 별 소비전력을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 소비전력 영향 요인 및 전력 사용량 예측 방안을 도출하였으며 주요장치의 용량 최적화 자료로 활용하고자 한다. Energy efficiency is a key factor for the EMU trains reasons of cost effectiveness and environmental competition. In this study, affecting factors to energy consumption for EMU trains such as train weight, efficiency, running resistance, gradient resistance, curve resistance, starting resistance and inertia mass are analyzed with TPS(Train Performance Simulation) and performance calculation. And energy consumption of each load for APU(Auxiliary Power Unit) which is fed the power to the major equipment and service equipment is analyzed. Based on the results of this analysis, energy saving strategy and prediction method of energy consumption were derived and it will be applied to the capacity optimization of APU.

This paper presents a vector control of Linear Induction Motor(LIM) based on a slip frequency contorl. And a Linear Induction Motor modeling included the end effect using circuit and equation method is also presented. We demonstrated through simulation the improvements achieved by the proposed scheme.

As a theory of polycrystaliine thin film transistor, two theories proposed. One is a grain boundary theory, and the other is a grain boundary trapping theory which was considered grain boundary mobility and trap density. In this paper, InSb thin film transistors were fabricated by vacuum evaporation. By measuring them current-voltage characteritics was obtained. Using grain boundary trapping theory, the parameters of grain boundary mobility μ_(b) trap density N_(t), the critical doping density N_(D)*, and the crystallite size L_(g) were obtained.
