청혈단(淸血丹)의 6-hydroxydopamine에 의해 유발된 독성에 대한 신경세포보호효과

Objectives: This Study was performed to assess the antioxidant and neuroprotective effect of Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) in PC12 cells and primary rat mesencephalic dopaminergic neurons. Methods: The anioxidant effect was investigated using the DPPH radical and ABTS cation scavenging assays and total polyphenol amout of Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan). The neuroprotective effect of Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) in PC12 cells was evaluated using MTT assay. The scavenging activity of Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) on ROS production induced by 6-OHDA(6-hydroxydopamine) in PC12 cells was evaluated, as well as the attenuating effect on GSH reduction. Finally, we examined the neuroprotective effect of Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) against 6-OHDA-induced toxicity in the primary culture of rat mesencephalic doperminergic neurons. Results: Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) showed concentration-dependent scavenging activities in DPPH radical and ABTS cation scavenging assays and it was not cytotoxic to PC12 cells. In post- and co-treatment, Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) protected PC12 cells from the 6-OHDA induced toxicity at 50 and 100 μg/mL significantly. And Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) decreased the 6-OHDA induced ROS production at a dose dependent manner, while increaing the 6-OHDA induced GSH reduction at 50 and 100 μg/mL significantly. Finally, Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) showed signicant protection of rat mescencephalic dopaminergic neurons from 6-OHDA at 1 μg/mL. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that Chunghyul-dan(Qingxuedan) has the antioxidant and neuroprotective effect against 6-OHDA induced cytotoxicity through decreasing ROS production and increasing GSH reduction.

Paleomagnetic investigations have been carried out on the Tertiary sedimentary formations (Yeonil Group) in Pohang basin, southeastern Korea. A total of 215 samples were collected from 26 sites. Progressive thermal demagnetization indicates that many samples have unstable magnetization and do not reveal a characteristic direction. However, some samples from the lower and upper Duho Formation show a characteristic direction D/I=7.8°/48.3° (α95=3.7°, κ=174.1). Stepwise thermal demagnetization data show that some samples from the Hagjeon and middle Duho Formations reveal great-circle distributions moving from the present to a reversed direction of geomagnetic field. The mean of intersection points of the great-circles is nearly antipodal to the characteristic normal direction of the lower and upper Duho Formation. We infer that the Hagjeon Formation was formed during the reversed polarity chron C5B (16.2~14.7 Ma) and the Duho Formation 14.7~11.6 Ma based on our results and previous paleontologic and age dating data. Paleomagnetic direction for the Middle Miocene of Korea, analysed from the combined results of stable endpoints and great circles, is D/I=8.7°/53.9° (α95=4.2°, κ=74.8), and the corresponding paleopole is Lat./Long.= 82.7°/230.2° (δp=2.8°, δm=5.9°). On the basis of this, we interpret that the opening of the East sea (Japan sea) or the synchronous clockwise rotation of the Southwest Japan exerted no structural influence on the Yeonil Group in the Middle Miocene.
다채를 기주로 양배추가루진딧물[Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus)]의 생명표 분석

양배추가루진딧물[Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus)]의 생명표를 작성하고자 다채(Brassica campestris var. narinosa)를 기주로 7개 온도(15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, $33{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, $65{\pm}5%$ RH, 16L : 8D)에서 온도발육 실험을 수행하였다. $24^{\circ}C$에서 온도별 사망률은 어린약충기간($1^{st}{\sim}2^{nd}$)에서 18%였고, 노숙약충기간($3^{rd}{\sim}4^{th}$)에서는 0%였다. $18^{\circ}C$에서 어린약충의 발육기간은 8.4일이었고, 온도가 증가 할수록 발육기간은 짧아졌으며 노숙약충은 6.7일이었다. 선형회귀분석을 이용한 전체약충의 발육영점온도는 $7.8^{\circ}C$였고, 유효적산온도는 120.1일도였다. 성충의 수명과 산자수는 모든 약충이 사망한 $15^{\circ}C$와 $33^{\circ}C$를 제외하고 5개 온도에서 조사하였다. 성충수명은 $21^{\circ}C$에서 14.9일이었고, $24^{\circ}C$에서 58.5개의 산자를 생산하였다. 생명표에서 순증가율($R_o$)은 $24^{\circ}C$에서 47.5였으며, 내적자연증가율($r_m$)과 기간증가율(${\lambda}$)은 $27^{\circ}C$에서 각각 0.36, 1.43이었다. 배수기간($D_t$)은 $27^{\circ}C$에서 1.95d이었고, 평균세대기간(T)은 $30^{\circ}C$에서 7.43d이었다. Life table analysis and temperature-dependent development experiments were conducted to understand the biological characteristics of the cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus) on detached Tah Tsai Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris var. narinosa) leaves at seven constant temperatures (15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 and $33{\pm}1^{\circ}C$; $65{\pm}5%$ RH; 16L:8D). Mortality was lowest at $24^{\circ}C$ with 18% and 0% at $1^{st}{\sim}2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}{\sim}4^{th}$ nymphal stages, respectively. The developmental period of $1^{st}{\sim}2^{nd}$ nymphal stage was 8.4 days at $18^{\circ}C$, and it decreased with increasing temperature. The developmental period of the $3^{rd}{\sim}4^{th}$ nymphal stage was 6.7 days at $18^{\circ}C$. The lower threshold temperature calculated using a linear model was $7.8^{\circ}C$, and the effective accumulative temperature was 120.1DD. Adult longevity was 14.9 days at $21^{\circ}C$, and total fecundity was observed 58.5 at $24^{\circ}C$. According to the life table, the net reproduction rate was 47.5 at $24^{\circ}C$, and the intrinsic rate of increase and the finite rate of increase were 0.36 and 1.43, respectively, at $27^{\circ}C$. The doubling time was 1.95d at $27^{\circ}C$, and mean generation time was 7.43d at $30^{\circ}C$.
전기차 충전설비에 있어서 도로교통량 데이터를 기반으로 한 충전수요예측 모델 연구

In order to efficiently build and operate an electric vehicle charging infrastructure in response to the rapidly increasing electric vehicles, it is necessary to accurately predict the electric vehicle charging demand. In this study, we set the road traffic as a major factor in determining electric vehicle charging demand and propose the electric vehicle charging demand forecasting model based on the road traffic. The proposed model suggested in this research primarily predicts the traffic volume of the neighboring area, especially adjacent roads where the charging station is located, and estimates the number of electric vehicles and their charging demand by using the relevant electric vehicle statistics and the historical charging data. As a result of simulated verification of the proposed model for the expressway rest area (Jukam rest area, Seoul direction), it shows an accuracy of 2-3% and is expected to be used as one of the traffic-based models in predicting electric vehicle charging demand.
무금형 다점 펀치와 분할성형을 적용한 선체 외판의 가공 정보 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

Forming process of curved plate has been carried out by skilled workers with line heating method. In this study, as more efficient method for the process, Press forming machine composed of a pair of reconfigurable multi press dies is used for forming hull plates of marine vessels. In addition to using the equipment efficiently, continuous division press forming method is applied. However it is difficult to estimate the amount of accurate spring back after forming the plate, we present a combination of FEM (Finite Element Method) and compensation algorithm concerning the relevant numerical approaches. In order to calculate the spring back, the process is modeled by an elastic plastic material and shell elements. An iterative process to obtain the compensated pressing strokes is suggested to adjust the amount of pressing through FEM and geometric compensation. The shape deviations due to spring back are compensated using DA(displacement adjustment) method. Typical examples show the applicability of the method.
