The revision of the Civil Law on 2005 preludes a major change in the traditional family concept of Koreans as it abolishes 'hojuje' or the patriarchal family registry system which will take effect in 2008. Under the revised Civil Law, children are allowed to adopt his or her mother's family name based on mutual consent from both parents, If a woman remarries, her children can also follow the family name of the stepfather with the court's approval. The revised Civil Law is a triumph of individual dignity and equality and an inevitable response to the change in the times. On February 3rd 2005, the Constitutional Court handed down a 6-3 decision, ruling that the patriarchal family registry system is unconstitutional, triggering off public movement on the revision. This represents a step forward for human rights. The main features of this revision in Family Law are as follows: 1. Abolition of the head of family system and prescribing new definition of family. 2. Easing the presumption of father's surname for new borne child. 3. Repealing the prevention on the marriage between same origins and adjusting the scope of intermarriage. 4. Abolition of forbidden clause of women's digamy in special period, improving of denial of paternity system, reforming of assent to adoption of person under fifteen years of age, introducing of adoption as a children of natural father and owing a precedence of welfare interest duty to parents. 5. Allowing the rights of succession for one who supports his parents and improving qualified acceptance of heritage. Still, efforts will be needed to apply the revised law, because new system is said to be fragmentary and unconnected with actual circumstances. On this paper, I suggest several alternatives for future revision mainly on adjustment of the scope of relatives and supplement of contributory portion on inheritance and apportionment for person having special connection . Above all things, I propose that the patriarchal family registration system would be replaced with an individual registration system. The envisioned registry document will each include records of people's birth, marriage, death and adoptions, along with their parents, spouses and children, but will not contain information on their siblings. The revision will pave the way for children to change their surnames, which were traditionally only taken from their father's, In addition, the abolishment of the hoju system is expected to bring significant changes in our society, which has so far served as the basis of the country's family registry system. So alternative methods should be explored to minimize difficulties accompanying changes in old practices.

The deep learning method requires a lot of data to achieve good performance, but suffers from insufficient of data. This problem is particularly remarkable in the medical image processing. To solve this problem, a method of weakly supervised learning using pseudo-label is widely used. In this paper, we propose a method of segmenting the vertebral body by augmentation the data using the weakly supervised method in the lateral X-ray image of infants. The proposed method is designed based on U-Net network, which is widely used in medical image segmentation problems, and consists of one encoder and two decoders. Experimentally, the result shows that the performance of our method has been improved by 1.05 % over the previous method.

Aluminum bumper reinforcement beam which is extruded in the hollow shape was developed as a substitute for the conventional GMT(Glass Mat Thermoplastic) beam due to their low cost and good working condition as well as their extruded structure, which has a advantageous effect on high strength. In design technology of aluminum bumper reinforcement beam, optimization of beam section which is suitable for weight saving and improvement of collision performance was performed by structural analysis using FEM. In processing technology, the extrusion material which is profitable to cost and productivity was selected, then, the extrusion and bending process was developed for the manufacturing of bumper beam.<br/> As a result of strength test of aluminum bumper reinforcement beam, aluminum has at least 70% higher energy absorption than the GMT beam with equivalent weight.<br/> <br/>

Skin lesions have a high misdiagnosis rate due to a wide variety of forms. Recently, a deep learning based skin lesion classification method is difficult to classify due to hair and fuzzy boundaries of skin lesions. In this paper, we propose a network for classifying skin lesions and segmenting skin lesion regions using a multitask learning method. Experimentally, the result shows that the performance of our method has been improved by 2.48 % over the previous method.
과채류 공정 육묘시 플러그 및 원통형 종이포트 육묘시스템 간의 생육특성 비교

본 실험은 기존의 플러그 육묘 시스템과 원통형 종이 포트 시스템을 상호비교하여 주요 과채류 육묘의 생육특성을 검토 하기 위해 수행되었다. 초장, 엽면적, 경경, 생체중 등의 지상부 생육은 토마토, 오이, 수박 모두 원통형 종이포트와 플러그 트레이 간의 차이가 없었다. 총 근장은 토마토와 오이는 육묘초기, 수박은 전 기간동안 플러그 트레이가 원통형 종이포트에 비해 길었다. 뿌리의 직경별로 각 뿌리의 길이를 구분한 결과, 토마토는 시험구간 차이가 없었지만 오이와 수박은 모든 굵기의 뿌리에서 플러그가 종이포트에 비해 20~251% 길었다. 토마토 뿌리의 생체중은 육묘기는 플러그 트레이가 원통형 종이포트에 약 30% 무거웠지만 생육이 진전될수록 차이가 감소하였고, 정식 이후는 시험구간 차이가 없어졌다. 오이 뿌리의 생체중은 육묘기부터 정식 이후까지 플러그묘가 약 20~30% 무거웠고, 정식 이후 까지도 생육이 진전될수록 차이가 커지는 경향을 보였다. 수박은 육묘기부터 정식 7일후까지는 원통형 종이포트 묘의 지상부 생체중 및 건물중이 무거웠지만, 정식 7일 이후부터 역전되었다. 결론적으로 원통형 종이포트 묘와 플러그 트레이 묘의 지상부 생육은 전반적으로 차이가 없었고, 지하부 생육은 플러그묘의 생육량이 많았다. This study was conducted to examine the growth characteristics of seedlings of several major fruit vegetables and compare them between plants grown with the conventional plug seedling system (Plug) and those grown with the cylindrical paper pot system (CPP). There were no significant differences in shoot growth characteristics, such as plant height, leaf area, dry weight, and fresh weight, between tomato, cucumber, and watermelon plants grown with the CPP and Plug systems. The total root lengths of tomato and cucumber plants grown with Plug were longer than those grown with CPP at the beginning of seedling growth, and the total root lengths of watermelon grown with Plug were longer than those grown with CPP throughout the whole seedling period. The length of root that separated five steps according to the diameter of the root of tomato did not differ between CPP and Plug, but those of cucumber and watermelon were 20-251% longer with Plug than with CPP for all kinds of roots. The fresh weight of Plug-grown tomato roots was about 30% heavier than that of CPP-grown tomato during the seedling period, but the difference decreased as growth progressed. Finally, there was no difference between plants before and after transplanting. The fresh weights of the Plug-grown plants were about 20-30% heavier than those of CPP-grown ones in terms of the whole seedling. After transplanting to the Wagner pot, the shoot growth of Plug-grown watermelon plants in terms of dry weight was low until 7 days had passed. However, this tendency was reversed from 8 days after transplantation onward. In conclusion, there were no significance differences in the growth of shoots between plants grown with the CPP and Plug systems. However, root development was better with Plug than with CPP.
