Static and dynamic FEM analysi was performed for the design of TCB which is used in rear suspension system of light-weight vehicle. Engineering sample was made and tested for static stiffness estimation. Dynamic analysis<br/> based on viscous-elasticity theory was done. Based on verified static/dynamic analysis results, system analysis of test vehicle's rear suspension was performed to check current ride performance and find optimum condition. The design of current TCB was modified to give optimized ride performance to test vehicle's rear suspension. Analysis of variance and orthogonal array was used to find optimized shape design of modified TCB.<br/>
