Pulse 反射法에 依한 金屬內의 超音波波長測定과 指向角計算

In order to investigate the divergence angle of ultrasonic wave by means of pulse echo technique, some experiments were carried out using specimens of pure aluminum and iron etc. As a result, the following results were obtained. (1) The velocity is 6300m/sec in aluminum and 5800m/sec in iron and 4300m/sec in brass. We can obtain the maximum velocity in aluminum. (2) The divergence angle is 2.3-23.5 degree in aluminum and this is the largest value among others. In the iron, the angle is 2.1-21 degree. (3) The divergence angle is dependent on the diameter of oscillators and the wave length of ultrasonic wave. The divergence angle is increased by the decrease of diameter, and also the divergence angle is increased by the increase of the wave length
Mossbauer 분광법에 의한 Ni 및 Cu Ferrite 의 자성 연구

The Mo??ssbauer effect study of the CuFe₂O₄were performed in the temperature range of 300K-700K to investigate of magnetic properties. The samples were prepared by ceramic sintering method and those samples were found to be cubic inverse spinel structure. Temperature dependence of the Mo??ssbauer parameter of isomer shift, quadrupole splitting and magnetic hyperfine field were studied. And the M??ossbauer spectra show that two set of six lines due to the Fe³+ ions on the octachedral and tetrahedral sites. After analysis of spectra, we obtained next results. The effective magnetic hyperfine field at nuclei in Fe³+ decreasing as the temperature is increasing, and also those value at the octahedral site is larger than that at tetrahedral site. The isomer shift is decreasing as the temperature is increasing. For the sample of NiFe₂O₄?? the isomer shift of octahedral site is larger than that of tetrahedral site.

The Silica gel with the density of 0.2g/cm3 and porosity of 90% was synthesized. The silica wet gel was dried and heat-treated under the ambient pressure after modification of the wet gel surface by TMCS. Specific surface area total pore volume and mean pore radius of dried gel were all increased with increasing heat treatment temperature and confirmed about 1400m2/g, 4.5cc/g and 8 nm respectively after heat treatment above 25$0^{\circ}C$. But the pore size distribution of dried gel was in the range of 1-100nm and was almost indepen-dent of temperature. As the result of external shape pore characteristics and microstructure of gel using SEM similar properties were observed between the silica gel synthesized in this study and the silica aerogel through the super critical drying.
Double Torsion 法에 依한 Alumina Ceramics A.D.S. 80의 破壤時의 Acoustic Emission 硏究

Acoustic emission studies on ADS ceramices have been carried out to investigate the cracking in fracture testing. Using double torsion (DT) specimens, AE signals during stable crack growth was monitored. The peak load AE was attributed to crack extension and AE energy was correlated with the energy released during crack propagation. We find out that the good proportionality existed between events rate and crack growth rate. And we obtained small AE events from the distribution of Amplitude (Fig 3-Fig 4), so it can be concluded that the cracking area of these signals were evaluated small (such as 5-10㎛). We also investigated fracture toughtness value of thes specimens (such as 4.4 MP a??, 5.3MPPa??.
