생활계 폐플라스틱 물질 재활용 제품의 품질안정화를 위한 기초 요인 검토

다양한 복합재질 생활계 폐플라스틱의 물질재활용 확대를 위해서는 물질재활용 제품의 용도개발 및 이들의 품질 안정성 확보 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 생활계 폐플라스틱 물질재활용 제품의 품질에 대한 안정성을 확보하기 위한 기초 연구로서 발생지역에 따른 생활계 폐플라스틱의 혼입율 특성 및 이를 활용한 물질재활용 제품의 생산시기에 따른 품질특성을 비교 검토하였다. 그 결과 발생 도시에 따른 생활계 폐플라스틱 중 재활용 가능한 폐플라스틱의 구성비율은 64.5∼90.4%로서 도시별 큰 차이를 보이고 있다. 또한 4개월간 생산시기별 물질재활용 제품의 평균 인장강도는 12.33MPa, 평균 연신율은 5.94%, 평균 밀도는 1.35g/㎤, 평균 회분은 3.66%인 것으로 나타났다. In this paper, we tried to examine the composition ratio of plastic waste from households according to the generated city and the qualities according to the production time of material recycling products. As a result, the composition ratio of recyclable plastic waste among the total plastic waste according to the generated cities is 64.5∼90.4%, showing a big difference by city. In addition, the quality evaluation of material recycling products by production time for four months showed that the average tensile strength was 12.33MPa, the average elongation rate was 5.94%, the average density was 1.35g/㎤ and the average ash content was 3.66%.
시멘트 종류별 질산 중화 레드머드 혼입 모르타르의 특성

This research explores the potential application of Liquid Red Mud(LRM), a byproduct of industrial processes, in the construction sector. We neutralized LRM(pH 10-12) using nitric acid, aiming to understand its viability in construction applications. The study involved substituting LRM(pH 7-8) in mortar formulations, varying by cement type. We assessed the properties of these mixtures by measuring flow, setting time, and compressive strength. Additionally, X-ray Diffraction(XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) analyses were conducted to examine the chemical properties. Results indicated a reduction in flow value for LRM and LN(neutralized LRM) compared to the control (Plain ) across different cement types. The setting times(initial and final) for LRM and LN were notably shorter than Plain. In compressive strength tests, LRM replaced with slag cement showed enhanced initial strength, though long-term strength gains were marginal across different cement types. SEM analysis revealed distinct voids in Plain and LN, with LRM exhibiting a fibrous microstructure. XRD patterns in SN(slag neutralized) resembled those in OR(original red mud) and ON(original neutralized), with a notable peak at a 2θ value of 22°. The study concludes that unneutralized LRM, when substituted for slag cement in mortar, yields superior initial strength compared to its neutralized counterpart.

Recently, researches on controlled low strength materials using coal ashes have been actively conducted in Korea. Controlled Low Strength Material by using a large amount of Coal Ashes, which is a by-product of the industry, will solve the environmental problems caused by coal ash as well as economic formulation. In this paper, the compressive strength and flow of the CLSM binder were investigated in order to select the optimum mixing ratio.
레드머드 첨가에 따른 알칼리활성화 슬래그-레드머드 건식 흙포장재의 다짐 특성

For this study, alkali-activated slag red-mud pavement is manufactured to examine the usability of red-mud as a recycling material in the construction industry. In the compaction curve in terms of the replacement ratio of red mud by binder type, the dry density changed gradually depending on the water content, which implies that there is no distinct difference in compaction according to the replacement ratio of red mud. The compressive strength at 28 days was observed to be 18.9~27.0MPa in ASS, and 18.4~28.8MPa in OPC, showing a similar level between the specimens.
비가열 제조법에 의한 BP슬러지의 반건조 제조공정 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 비가열 제조법에 의한 BP슬러지의 반건조 제조공정 개발에 관한 연구로 고함수율(50% 이상)의 BP부산물을 건설 재료로의 대량 활용하기 위하여 산업부산물과 혼합에 따른 함수율 저감에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. BP부산물에 함수저감재(1:0.5)의 투입비율에서 함수저감율을 측정결과 PA+CFA(1:0.5) 배합에서 함수율이 18.5%로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 또한, 에이징 온도조건 $20{\sim}30^{\circ}C$일 경우 에이징 기간 1~2일 사이에 약 9.2~11.4%의 함수율을 나타내 본 연구에서 건설재료로 활용하기 위한 10% 이내의 함수율 저감에 근접하였다. 에이징 공정 이후 분쇄방법에 따른 비가열 BP부산물의 물성을 비교 평가한 결과, 분쇄방식에 따라서 차이는 많이 발생하지 않았으며, 생산효율 및 경제성을 고려할 경우 연속생산이 가능한 미립자분쇄기 또는 핀밀을 사용하는 것이 적합할 것으로 나타났다. This study relates to an investigation into semi-dry manufacturing process of BP sludge based on non-heating production method. In this study, we conducted a research into reduction of water content ratio which arose from mixture of BP by-products of high water content ratio(50% or higher) with industrial by-products to use such BP by-products as construction materials in large quantity. We measured the reduction rate of water content ratio at the feeding ratio of water content reduction agent(1:0.5) in BP by-products. The results showed that water content ratio was the lowest with 18.5% in the mixture of PA+CFA(1:0.5). Moreover, water content ratio ranged between approximately 9.2% and 11.4% at the age of 1 day to 2 days at the aging temperature of $20-30^{\circ}C$, suggesting that the water content ratio was in the range within 10% which was a level suitable for use as construction material in this study. Meanwhile, we compared and evaluated the physical properties of non-heated BP by-products based on post-aging pulverization method. The results showed that there was no significant difference, depending on pulverization method. When production efficiency and economic feasibility were taken into consideration, it was found desirable to use fine particle pulverizer or pin mill enabling continuous production.

In this paper, the characteristics of soil concrete were examined using industrial waste red mud and construction waste circulating aggregate, and if unit cement of 250 kg/m3, it can be used as a soil packaging material by meeting the compressive strength standards for parking lots of SPS-KSCICO-001-2006:2020.
