The temporary acid dissociation constants (pK'?) of GlyH-BPEIH? mixed ligand were determined by pH titration method at 30℃ in 0.1M KCl. Obtained constants were increased with BPEIH?/GlyH mole dration decreasing, and experimental constant n valued were decreased with mole ratio decreasing. Stability constants of ternary complexes, Cu(II)-Gly-BPEI were lager than the binary complexes and the constants were increased with BPEIH?GlyH mole ratio decreasing. The visible absorption spectra were confirmed that Cu(II)-Gly-BPEI, the ternary polymer-metal complexes, coordinated to six coordinating site by ligands of BPEI and Gly.

Ni(Ⅱ) complexes with polyethyleneimine(PEI) as ligands were prepared in absolute ethanol by varying PEI/Ni(Ⅱ) mole ratio. The effects of PEI/Ni(Ⅱ) mole ratio and reaction temperature on the yield of the resulting complexes were investigated. It was observed that two types of octahedral complexes, [Ni(PEI)Cl₂] and [Ni(PEI)]Cl₂were obtained by varying PEI/Ni(Ⅱ) mole ratio from 0.5 to 7.0, and he structures of the complexes were characterized by ir and uv spectroscopy. The solubility behavior of the complexes in various organic and ionic aqueous solutions were also studied.

The stability constants of the mixed ligand complexes that indicate branched Ploy(ethylene imine) and glycine, were determined by potentiometric titration at 30℃ and I=0.1M KCl. The stabiliy constants were calculated from the Bjerrum and modifed Bjerrum methods. The over all stability constants (log β₃) of mixed ligand complexes of Ni(Ⅱ) were 21.10 by the Bjerrum method and 20.70 by the modified Bierrum method. The values of over all stability constants from the Bjerrum method were in good agreement with the modified method, in spite of different from the calculation methods of the stability constants.
분광법 및 전위차 적정법에 의한 Branched Poly(ethylene imine)-Platinum(II)착물의 연구

Complexation of Pt(Ⅱ) with branched poly(ethylene imine)(BPEI) in aqueous solution was studied spectroscopically and potentiometrically. From the formation curves computed from the titration data and spectroscopic results, it was found that two ethylene imine units were coordinated to one platinum (Ⅱ) ion in the Pt(Ⅱ)-BPEI system. The stepwise stability constants log k?could be calculated directly from the modified Bjerrum method. log k₁ and log k₂ were 3.28 at BPEIH+/Pt(Ⅱ) mole ratio of 5.0, and 3.31 and 3.25 at mole ratio of 10.0. The formation curves show inflection point for the average coordination number at pH 7.4. The average coordination number increased pH∼7.4, while decreased in the pH range of 7.4∼8.4. This phenomenon has been explained by the electrostatic effect on the polymer chain.

The stability constants for the complex formation of poly(vinyl alcohol) with uranyl ion, in an aqueous solution, have been determined in terms of pH titration method by a modified Bjerrum method propposed by Gregor and co-worker. The formation curves of the complexes in the system of ionic strength 0.1(KCl) at 30℃, showed that four hydroxy groups combine with uranyl ion, and the complex formation increases abruptly around ph4.5, region. The numerical values of overall stability constants(logβ) were 18.39 and 17.93 at 5.0 and 10.0 mole ratio of PVA/UO₂?, respectively.

Cr(Ⅲ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) complexes with polyethyleneimine(PEI) as ligands have been prepared in absolute ethanol, and the structures of the complexes were chracterized by reflectance and infrared spectra. The structures of obtained complexes were pendant-type and polymer chelate type. [Cr(H₂O)₄ CI(PEI)CI₂] with pendant-type was insoluble in organic solvents, acids, DMF and DMSO, another complexes, [Co(PEI)]CI₂ [Ni(PEI)]CI₂ and [Cu(PEI)]CI₂ with polymer chelate were soluble in water. Especially, in aqueous solution, chlorides of [Ni(PEI)]CI₂ was substituted by H₂O.
중국 대련시 낙타산(駱駝山) 금원동(金远洞)동굴의 발굴과 유적의 성격

최근 우리나라에서 많은 구석기유적들이 찾아지고 조사되는 것처럼 중국에서도 요즈음 새로운 유적들이 계속해서 찾아지고 있다. 이 가운데 하나인 대련(大連)시의 낙타산(駱駝山)에 자리한 금원동(金远洞) 동굴유적에 대해 유적의 조사경위와 발굴 진척 사항, 유적의 성격 등에 대하여 살펴보기로 한다. 요동반도의 남쪽 끝에 자리한 대련은 한반도와 지리적으로 매우 가까운 곳이며 특히 갱신세시기에는 대륙으로 이어져 있었을 것으로 추정되는 곳으로 우리에게도 매우 중요한 비교 연구 대상지역이기도 하다. 이미 요령 성에서는 묘후산(廟後山), 금우산(金牛山) 등을 비롯한 많은 구석기시대의 유적이 알려져 있다. 특히 금원동 동굴은 북경의 주구점(周口店) 유적과 비견되는 유적으로 이 유적의 연구 성과가 밝혀지면 더욱 많은 자료들이 밝혀져 한국과의 비교 연구가 가능해지고 나아가서는 동북아시아에서의 구석기시대의 성격을 밝히는데 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 이 유적의 소개에는 중국 대련시의 대련자연박물관의 조박 관장님, 유금원 연구원님의 많은 도움이 있었으며 특히 중국과학원 고척추동물여고인류연구소의 김창주 교수님께 감사의 말씀을 드린다.
우리나라 선사시대 소과(Bovidae) 화석에 대한 고찰

During the Quaternary, the paleoenvironment of Korean Peninsular has been changed several times. The fauna discovered in the prehistoric sites, especially the Bovidae fossil permit to estimate the climatic conditions of the prehistoric Korea. Four species of Bovidae family have been present and its faunal composition has been changed through the Quaternary in Korea. Based on the these fossils, we may notice as follows: 1) Bos primigenius had been present whole the Pleistocene and it has been changed to Bos taurus in Holocene. 2) Bison priscus had been dominant during the Upper Pleistocene but it had been extinct in Holocene. 3) Bubalus sp. had been widely spread in Korea, especially in the North-western part of Korea during the middle Pleistocene and it was disappeared then after. But this animal has been reappeared during the early Holocene period. 4) Bos Taurus was the dominant Bovidae species during the Holocene and it would be related with human activities such as domestication and cultivation. From the changes of Bovidae in Korean peninsular, we may interpret that the climatic condition of the middle Pleistocene of our country would be relatively warm and it became colder during the upper Pleistocene. And it became warm during the early Holocene and it changed to a temperate climate as today.
