        미술 수업에서 장치(dispositif)에 따른 학생들의 느낌 분석 -고등학생의 추상 표현 활동을 중심으로-

        미술 수업이 풍요로운 미적 경험의 장이 되기 위해서는 수업의 장치 설정이 중요하다. 미술 수업은 재료와 도구, 환경과 같은 물리적 요소와 교육과정이나 수업 시수, 동료 교사들의 미술 수업에 대한 인식 등 비물리적 요소로 이루어져 있으며, 이 이질적 요소들은 학생을 중심으로 복잡하게 엉켜있다. 교사는 이러한 요소들을 적재적소에 배치하여 학생들을 좀 더 깊고 넓은 느낌의 장으로 끌고 들어갈 수 있다. 본 연구는 미술 수업에 적용된 장치에 의한 학생들의 느낌을 분석하여 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 푸코, 들뢰즈, 아감벤의 장치 개념을 기반으로 미술 수업의 장치에 대해 이해하였다. 이어서 화이트헤드의 느낌 이론을 기반으로 장치 설정 시 중요하게 고려해야 하는 학생의 느낌과 그 과정에 대해 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 고등학교 1학년 남학생들을 대상으로 추상 표현 활동을 진행한 후 교사가 설정한 장치에서 학생들이 어떤 느낌을 갖게 됐는지를 분석하여 제시하였다. 이를 통해 미술 수업에서 학생들이 그들의 몸을 통해 세상과 만나게 하는 방법과 학생들로 하여금 더 깊고 새로운 느낌을 가지게 하는 방법에 대해 이해하게 될 것이다.

        조리방법에 따른 테프 추출물의 항산화 및 대장암세포 성장 억제 활성 변화

        Purpose: The study aimed to investigate the changes in antioxidant and colon cancer cell growth-inhibitory activities of Eragrostis tef (ET) prepared using different cooking methods. Methods: Raw, steamed, baked, and roasted ET were freeze-dried and extracted with 80% ethanol (ETE). Total polyphenol content (TPC) and total flavonoid content (TFC), radical-scavenging activity (RSA) using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) and 2.2’-azino-bis(3-ethyl-benzthiazline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS), and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) of ETE were measured. Assays using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) were performed to determine the effect of ETE on the growth of HCT116 human colon cancer cells. Cell cycle analysis was also performed in HCT116 cells to assess the effect of ETE on cell cycle distribution. Results: TPC and TFC of raw ET were 0.87 mg gallic acid equivalent/g dry weight (DW) and 3.09 mg quercetin equivalent/g DW, respectively. DPPH RSA, ABTS RSA, and FRAP of raw ETE were 10.78-31.38% (at 375-1,500 μg/mL), 12.82% (at 1,500 μg/mL), and 23.71-71.80% (at 375-1,500 μg/mL), respectively. Steaming resulted in increased TPC and DPPH RSA but decreased TFC. Baking resulted in increased TPC, DPPH RSA, and FRAP. Roasting resulted in increased TPC, DPPH RSA, ABTS RSA and FRAP. Treatment of HCT116 cells with raw ETE at 100-1,000 μg/mL resulted in decreased growth (57.61-92.24% of control) along with G2/M arrest. Roasted ETE at 100-1,000 μg/mL resulted in further decreases in the growth of HCT116 cells, which was associated with both G2/M arrest and apoptosis induction. Conclusion: These results indicate that the antioxidant content and activities of ET are influenced by cooking methods and that roasting effectively enhances both the antioxidant and colon cancer cell growth-inhibitory activities in vitro.

        아이스플랜트의 항산화 및 HCT116 인체 유래 대장암세포 성장억제 활성

        Purpose: This study examined the antioxidant and cancer cell growth inhibitory activities of an ethanol extract and different solvent fractions of Mesembryanthemum crystallinum L. (ice plant). Methods: The ice plant was freeze-dried, extracted with 99.9% ethanol, and then fractionated with hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water. The total polyphenol content (TPC), total carotenoid content (TCC), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging activity (RSA), and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) were measured. Assays using 2',7'-dichlorofluorescin-diacetate and 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5- diphenyltetrazolium bromide were performed to measure the intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and cell growth, respectively. Annexin V/propidium iodide staining and cell cycle analysis were performed for the detection of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest. Results: TPC, TCC, RSA, and FRAP of the ethanol extract (EE) were 3.7 mg gallic acid equivalent/g, 13.2 μg/g, 21.0% (at a concentration of 5 mg/mL), and 21.0% (at a concentration of 5 mg/mL), respectively. Among the different solvent fractions, the butanol fraction (BF) showed the highest TPC (5.4 mg gallic acid equivalent/g), TCC (86.6 μg/g), RSA (34.9% at 5 mg/mL), and FRAP (80.8% at 5 mg/mL). Treatment of HCT116 human colon cancer cells with EE and BF at concentrations of 250 and 500 μg/mL reduced the levels of intracellular ROS. Concomitantly, EE and BF resulted in the dose-dependent inhibition of cell growth (at the concentrations of 125, 250, and 500 μg/mL for 24 ~ 48 h) and the induction of apoptosis (at the concentrations of 250 and 500 μg/mL for 48 h) in HCT116 cells. An increased G2/M cell population was also found in the BF-treated cells. Conclusion: These results suggest that ice plant possesses antioxidant and growth inhibitory activities in colon cancer cells.

        Pronunciation of the Tonic Syllable as an Indicator of English Proficiency

        This study aims to examine the importance of the tonic syllable in English pronunciation. The tonic syllable is the last stressed syllable of a tone group. There are two phonetic phenomena regarding the tonic syllable: (1) tone slide occurs as in This is my dad. The tonic syllable dad is lengthened to keep the high and low pitch; and (2) tone shift occurs as in This is my brother. The tonic syllable bro keeps the high pitch and the following syllable ther keeps the low pitch. In this study, a speech analysis program, praat was used to measure the effects of tone slide and tone shift on the duration, pitch, and intensity of Korean learners' pronunciation of English. The subjects were 20 sixth graders, who were divided into the higher or lower level depending on the results of their speaking tests. The subjects read a passage that consisted of 10 sentences, which contained tone slide or tone shift. The results showed that the higher level subjects pronounced the tonic syllable much longer and higher than the lower level subjects. In sum, the pronunciation of the tonic syllable proved to be a strong indicator of the proficiency level of English.

        간호 · 간병통합서비스 시행 이후, 확장된 간호사 업무영역과 작업 환경에 따른 효율적인 업무 수행을 위한 정보 전달 수단이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 간호 · 간병통합서비스가 시행 병동의 상황보드의 설계를 위한 기능 도출을 위해 간호 · 간병통합서비스 병동간호사와 일반 병동 간호사를 대상으로 FGI 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰한 데이터를 바탕으로 환자안전관리업무 영역에서의 현재의 업무 처리 방식과 업무 환경을 비교 분석하여 개선이 필요한 상황인식(SA)요소와 정보를 추출하였고, 환자파악, 환자안전모니터링, 예방간호 영역을 중심적으로 특징적 기능을 정리했다. 정리된 GUI 디자인 기능은 사용성 평가를 통해 기능검증으로 이어질 것이며, 이후 설계될 병동상황보드는 간호사의 업무를 효율적으로 보조할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        음성 분석을 통한 초등영어 학습자의 영어 리듬 패턴 고찰

        The present study investigated the rhythm pattern of English of Korean primary students by examining the differences both in proficiency levels and in parts of speech. The subjects were 18 fourth graders and two native speaking students. They read 12 sentences aloud, which were progressively modified by adding a variety of pronouns, auxiliary verbs, and articles. The study first measured the duration of the sentences spoken by the native English speaking subjects to establish base values. The duration values of the three levels of Korean students were then measured against these base values in order to find the duration ratios. Although the highest level students demonstrated a notably smaller increase in duration ratios than their lower level counterparts, the results showed that their duration values were still significantly higher than those of the native speakers. With respect to the degree of weakening by parts of speech, the Korean students showed duration ratios in the following order, from highest to lowest: pronouns, auxiliary verbs, articles, and prepositions, whereas the native speaking students' order was: auxiliary verbs, pronouns, articles, and prepositions. It was concluded that the rhythm pattern of Korean students was very different from that of native speakers and there were significant differences depending on the proficiency levels of the students.
