Structural Test and Evaluation of Composite Blade for Wind Turbine System

In this work, a structural design on horizontal axis wind turbine blade using natural flax fiber composite is performed. The structural design results of flax/epoxy composite blade are compared with the design results of glass/epoxy composite blade. In order to evaluate the structural design of the composite blade, the structural analysis was performed by the finite element method. Through the structural analyses, it is confirmed that the designed blade using natural composite is acceptable for structural safety, blade tip deflection, structural stability, resonance possibility, and weight. Finally, structural test of manufactured blade was performed. Through the structural test, it is confirmed that the designed blade is acceptable.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Adiponectin is a major adipocytokine secreted from mammalian adipocytes. Relatively low expression of adiponectin is associated with various human metabolic diseases and some cancers. Adiponectin-secreting compounds have therapeutic potential for these diseases. Adipogenesis of human bone marrow-mesenchymal stem cells (hBM-MSCs) has been used as a phenotypic assay to find adiponectin secreting compounds. In a phytochemical library screen, 2-formyl-komarovicine, 1-(quinolin-8-yl)-1,3,4,9-tetrahydro-2<I>H</I>-pyrido[3,4-<I>b</I>]indole-2-carbaldehyde, isolated from <I>Nitraria komarovii</I> was identified as a potential adiponectin-secreting compound. To validate the results of the impure phytochemical, we synthesized 2-formyl-komarovicine. The synthetic 2-formyl-komarovicine significantly promoted adiponectin production during adipogenesis in hBM-MSCs. In a target identification experiment, 2-formyl-komarovicine bound to peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) in a concentration-dependent manner. Notably, 2-formyl-komarovicine competitively inhibited the adiponectin-promoting activity of a full PPARγ agonist, troglitazone, in hBM-MSCs, which is a pharmacological feature of a partial agonist. The ligand-docking model showed that 2-formyl-komarovicine interacted with the hydrophobic pocket of the PPARγ ligand-binding domain, but lacked an interaction to stabilize helix H12, which is one of the major binding themes of PPARγ partial agonists. We concluded that 2-formyl-komarovicine provides a novel pharmacophore for PPARγ partial agonists to increase adiponectin production.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

<P>The therapeutic potential of adiponectin regulation has received interest because of its association with diverse human disease conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis, and cancer. Phenylethylchromone derivatives from <I>Aquilaria malaccensis</I>-derived agarwood promoted adiponectin secretion during adipogenesis in human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, and 5,6-dihydroxy-2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone (<B>1</B>) was identified as a new chromone derivative. A target identification study with the most potent adiponectin-secretion-promoting phenylethylchromones, 6-methoxy-2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone (<B>3</B>) and 7-methoxy-2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone (<B>4</B>), showed that they are PPARγ partial agonists. Therefore, the diverse therapeutic effects of agarwood are associated with a PPARγ-mediated adiponectin-secretion-promoting mechanism.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
컨텍스트 퓨전을 통한 센서 네트워크에서의 시간 제약 컨텍스트 탐지 기법

본 논문은 시간 제약 조건을 갖는 컨텍스트(상황)에 대한 분산적 탐지 기법(PROCON)을 제안한다. 수집한 데이터를 베이스 스테이션으로 모아 컨텍스트의 발생 여부를 결정하는 기존의 중앙집중 기법과 달리 PROCON은 네트워크 내에서 능동적, 분산적 방식으로 센서 노드 간의 협업을 통하여 컨텍스트를 결정한다. 따라서, 컨텍스트의 발생여부 탐지와 이에 대한 대응(Actuation)이 베이스 스테이션에 독립적으로 네트워크 내에서 모두 이루어진다. 본 논문은 다양한 상황구성에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 PROCON의 분산 상황방식이 기존의 중앙집중 방식에 비해 상당한 에너지 절약과 서비스 신뢰성(reliability) 향상을 가져온다는 것을 보인다.
양이온 아크릴고분자에 결합된 로다민 화학센서 개발과 구리(Ⅱ)이온의 선택적 검출

금속의 선택적 검출을 위한 수용성 로다민 발색제와 수용성 고분자결합에 결합된 발색제를 개발하였다. 술폰염을 포함하는 알킬케톤과 로다민의 하이드라자이드의 이민형성 반응으로 수용성 발색물질이 합성되었다. 알킬사슬에 황원자가 도입된 로다민 발색제는 구리(Ⅱ)이온에 강한 선택성을 보였다. 알킬케톤으로 유도된 아크릴 단분자와 양이온 아크릴 단분자 methacrylatoethyl trimethylammonium chloride(AETMA)로부터 공중합 고분자를 합성하였고, 이에 로다민을 도입하여 로다민 결합 수용성 고분자를 제조하였다. 고분자의 점도측정을 통한 평균분자량은 6.5×10<SUP>4</SUP> g/mol이었으며 약 5 mol%의 로다민을 함유하였다. 고분자에 결합된 아마이드 작용기는 금속과 결합하는 성질 때문에 금속 발색제 로다민의 검출능력을 저하시킨다. 로다민결합 고분자의 구리(Ⅱ)이온에 대한 높은 선택성을 흡수분광분석을 통해 관찰하였다. 구리(Ⅱ)이온 검출에서 흡광도는 10일 이상 동안 지속적으로 상승하는 특성을 보였다. 로다민 유도체의 수은에 대한 약한 감응특성은 고분자 결합을 통해서 부분적으로 향상되었다. Water-soluble rhodamine and polymeric chemosensors were developed for copper detection. A new rhodamine derivative was synthesized through imine formation of rhodamine-hydrazide and a ketone carrying sulfonium salt, and a sulfide linkage for selective Cu2+ sensing in water. A copolymer of a ketone-acrylate with methacrylatoethyl trimethylammonium chloride was synthesized, which was treated with rhodamine-hydrazide to generate a polymeric sensor. The viscosity average molecular weight of the polymer was 6.5×10<SUP>4</SUP> g/mol. The polymer has a rhodamine content of ca. 5 mol% through 1H NMR analysis. Amide bonds caused to decrease the metal sensitivity of the rhodamine sensor because they are capable of absorbing metal ions. The Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> sensing of the polymeric rhodamine sensor was examined with light absorption intensity at 560 nm. The slow Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> binding of the polymeric sensor was observed over 10 days. Additionally, Hg<SUP>2+</SUP> sensing activity of the polymer sensor was enhanced compared to the rhodamine sensor.

확률적으로 동일한 M개의 on-off VBR 원천들에서 발생하는 데이터를 하나의 ATM 링크 위로 다중화하는 통계적 다중화기를 분석하였다. 특히, 버스트 수준 다중화 전략과 셀 수준 다중화 전략을 비교하였다. 우리는 분석적으로 셀 도착에 대한 한 특정모형에 대해서 “ATM 서버 속도” 대 “고객 접근선속도” 비의 임계값이 존재한다는 것을 보였다. 모의실험 결과는 다중화기에 대한 분석으로부터 예상될 수 있었던 것을 확인시켜 주었다. We analysed a multiplexer supporting M statistically identical on-off sources on to an ATM link. In particular, we compared the performance of two multiplexing strategies: burst level multiplexig and cell level multiplexing. We showed analytically that, for a particular model for cell arrivals, there is a threshold of ATM trunk-speed to customer access-line-speed ratio below which burst level multiplexing is better for minimizing mean end-to-end burst delay. The simulation results confirmed what might be expected from the analytical modeling of the multiplexer.

In this study, designing of a Type 4 pressure vessel using the filament winding method was conducted. In order to prevent leakage in consideration of the design of the hydrogen storage tank, a liner was designed by applying high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and the composite structure was designed by stacking carbon/epoxy in the hoop and helical directions. As a theoretical approach, the angle of the helical fiber and fiber thickness of each hoop and helix were designed. The safety of the design was verified using the commercial software ANSYS.
