        The world is changing, Korea is in the middle of the road which is up to the development of culture industry, high profittable industry. The key words of culture industry are the movie ``Avatar`` and I-phone. ``Avatr`` is not simply the conventionally technical film, rather is a phenomenon for hybrid with cutural and technomogical values which is from technologies such as 3D, computer graphics, compositing, and virtual realities. Also, I-phone is not just a receiver, but a surprise as a portal for any contents within small pc, lap top, and game station. The creation of ``Avatar`` and I-phone has the fuction for developing the related culture industries. Their profitabilities are enormous. It has been a long time that The Korea has plunged into the competative market vying for forerunner in the line of digital industry or culture industry. But the question of this paper is whether the proper education is put on this area or not and then the purpose of this essay to pinpoint the blind spot, to anlalyse the cause, and to present the alternative to reality. The author doesn`t have any intentions to harm technological development. The development of technology is unstoppable because it`s a direction to contemporary civilization and profitable pursuit for industry. Even it does not only mean to interrupt the technological development but also to have the conviction that the raising a queston is necessary and positive for how it is proper way to culture creation.

      • 전기로 제강 제품군에 대한 전과정평가

        국내에서 생산되는 전기로 제강 제품군에 대해 인료채취부터 제품생산까지에 대한 전과정평가를 수행하였다. 대상제품군은 형강, 봉강, 철근, 레일이다. 각 대상제품군별 국내생산량이 가장 큰 업체 2-3곳을 선정하여 전과정목록 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 또한 전과정목록 분석결과를 토대로 대상제품군별 환경영향평가지수를 산출하였다. 환경영향평가지수는 형강, 봉강, 철근, 레일이 각각 5.05E-05, 1.22E-04, 5.36E-04, 4.25E-05으로, 봉강의 환경영향이 형강에 비해 약 2.4배가량 높다. 대체적으로 지구온난화 범주에 미치는 환경영향이 매우 큰 것을 조사되었으며, 원인을 찾기 위해 제품 생산 단계를 세분하여 CO₂ 분석을 수행하였다. Life Cycle Assessment has been conducted from raw material acquisition to manufacturing for Electric Arc Furnace Steel products manufactured in Korea. The product category under investigation included steel sections, round bars, deformed bars and rails. Two or three major manufacturing companies were chosen for each product category in establishing life cycle inventory database. Eco-indicator for each product category was calculated based on the life cycle analysis results. The eco-indicators of steel sections, round bars, deformed bars and rails were 5.05E-05, 1.22E-04, 5.36E-04 and 4.25E-05 respectively - environmental impact caused by round bars is approximately 2.4 times grater than by steel sections. The main impact category for the most products is global worming in accordance with the result of LCA. Therefore, CO₂ analysis was conducted to identify the most contributing activity to global worming category.

        In this paper, a high-fidelity wireless microphone system with 16 channels in UHF band have been designed and implemented. According to the table of radio frequency allocation, a frequency for the wireless microphone is allocated in radio band from 740MHz to 752MHz and maximum frequency deviation is ±75KHz. The wireless microphone system have been designed with frequency modulation, PLL(Phase Locked Loop) frequency synthesized method, dual conversion, preemphasis/deemphasis and commander of 2:1 type. The wireless microphone system have been designed in this study has a frequency response from 50 to 20,000Hz and THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) lower then 1%. A high-fidelity audio can be transmitted through the air by the designed wireless microphone system Kevword'UHF Wireless Microphone, PLL, FM.

      • 2007년도 덕성여자대학교 신입생의 특성

        2007년도 덕성여자대학교 신입생 및 그 가정의 제반특성을 파악하기 위하여 인적 사항, 가정환경, 입학 만족도, 대학생활, 가치관, 자신에 대한 지각, 강의주제 등에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 신입생 1281명 중 응답자 1066명의 자료를 분석하여 각 문항 별로 신입생 전체는 물론 각 학부의 응답 빈도 및 비율을 제시하였다. 되풀이 확인된 결과로는 우선, 대다수의 학생들이 수도권지역의 고등학교를 졸업하였으며 중산층 이상의 가정 출신이라는 점이다. 대부분 부모가 모두 생존해 계시고 고졸이상의 학력을 가지고 있다. 두번째, 학생들은 취업에 큰 관심을 가지고 있으며 장래 취업을 준비하기 위해 대학에 진학 했다고 답한 경우가 많았다. 이외에도 대학별 특징 등 중요한 결과들을 논의에서 요약하였다. 그리고 그 결과들이 시사하는 바를 제안하였다. Examined the characteristics of the students who entered Duksung Women's University in 2007. The total number of 1066(out of 1281) undergraduates completed an autobiographical questionnaire which inquires about demographic variables, family environment, satisfaction with the university, expectancies of a campus life, value system, self-concept, and lecture subject. Results show that a majority of the students were graduated from high schools located in Seoul. Both of their parents are alive, in the middle or higher socioeconomic groups and of high educational accomplishment(at the lowest, high school graduates). One of the replicated findings is that students are highly interested in career development. A great proportion of career preparation. The result also indicate that many students have chosen our university solely based on their grades. And many students report that they are satisfied with their choice, which is very encouraging. Other result such as the characteristics unique to each college are also summarized and several suggestions are presented In the discussion section.

        흰쥐의 발치와에 이식한 단계별 치아싹의 발육 과정

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate at which stage of tooth germ would develop into normal calcification and hence to increase the success rate of transplantation. Therefore, tooth germs on the 15th, 17th embryonic day and the 3rd day of birth were separated for allotransplantation into maxilla of adult rat of 11 weeks. Calcification processes were analyzed radiographically and histopathologically at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after allotransplantation. The results are as follows: 1. Allotransplanted tooth germ at 4 weeks and 8 weeks showed delayed calcification compared to that of normal odontogenesis. 2. At 4 weeks, abnormal calcified tissue, such as odontoma and ankylosis of osteodentin with surrounding alveolar bone were observed. 3. At 8 weeks, allotransplanted tooth germs of the 15th and 17th embryonic day showed calcification and osteodentin surrounded by periodontal ligament. 4. At 8 weeks, allotransplanted tooth germs of the 3rd day of birth showed calcification composed of cementum and osteodentin. In this study, we observed small sized and amorphous calcified tissue from allotropic allotransplantation of tooth germs. Since these calcified tissue were underdeveloped and shaped irregularly, for calcification into normal tooth form, further study needs consideration about the reduction of surgical trauma, developmental stage of transplanted tooth germ, blood supply from recipient site, fixation method in transplanted site and period of transplantation. 외상이나 치주 질환,유전적 결함 등에 의하여 치아가 상실되었을 경우,보철 수복이나 임플란트로 치료하고 있다. 그러나 보철 수복이나 임플란트는 자연치가 아닌 인공치를 이용한 치료로서 기능성과 섬미성 등에서 자연치에 비하여 한계 가 있으므로 자연치를 이용한 이식 방법에 관심이 증가하고 있으며 치아 이식의 성공률을 높이기 위한 이식 치아의 발육과 성장에 대한 연구가 진행 중이다. 이 연구는 세 가지 단계의 치아싹을 발치와에 동종 이식하고 치아싹이 발육하여 석회화가 이루어지는지 평가하기 위하여 임선 15일과 17일,출생 후 3일 된 흰쥐의 치아싹을 분리하여 11주 된 흰쥐의 발치와에 이식하고 4주와 8주 후 방사 선학적 그리고 병리조직학적으로 석회화 과정을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 발치와에 이식된 임신 15일과 17일,출생 후 3일 된 치아싹에서 4주와 8주 후 석회화된 조직이 형성되었다. 2. 임신 15일과 17일,출생 후 3일 된 치아싹을 발치와에 이식하고 4주 후 치아종 같은 비정상적인 석회화 조직과 인접 치조골과 유착된 골양상아질이 관찰되었다. 3. 임신 15일과 17일 된 치아싹을 발치와에 이식하고 8주 후 골양상아질이 보였으며 치주인대로 둘러싸인 것도 관찰되었다. 4. 출생 후 3일 된 치아싹을 발치와에 이식하고 8주 후 골양상아질과 백악질이 형성되었다. 이 연구는 치아싹을 흰쥐의 발치와에 이식한 후 치아싹의 발육을 관찰한 것으로 이식 조직에서 크기가 작고 무정형의 석회화 조직이 형성되었다. 정상적인 치아보다 형태가 불규칙하고 발육이 늦었으므로 이식된 치아싹이 정상적인 치아 형태로 석회화되도록 하기 위해서는 이식 조직의 발육 정도와 이식 조직을 절제할 때 외과적 손상의 감소,치아싹으로의 풍부한 혈류 공급,이삭 기간,이식 조직의 고정을 고려하여 더 많은 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

        Renal cell carcinoma is the third most common neoplasia of the genitourinary tract. Its most common type, representing 60% of the cases, is the clear cell carcinoma, with an incidence peak between 50 and 70 years. Metastases are present at the time of diagnosis in approximately 30% of the patients, the major sites being lungs, bones, skin, liver, and brain. But distant metastasis of malignant neoplasm to the masseter muscle is extremely rare. We report a case of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) metastasizing to the masseter muscle.

        계승치의 결손을 동반한 상, 하악 유구치의 다발성 유착에 대한 증례보고

        치아유착은 치근의 상아질 또는 백악질이 치조골과 융합된 것으로 치아의 맹출이상을 야기하여 치조골 성장의 장애를 일으킨다. 본 6세 여아는 유구치의 유착과 영구 소구치의 결손을 주소로 본과에 의뢰되었으며 특이할 만한 의과적, 치과적 병력은 없었다. 구강검진 소견상 상, 하악의 좌, 우측 유구치에서 저위교합이 관찰되었으며, 다수의 치아우식증이 존재하였다. 방사선 사진 검사 소견상 상악의 좌, 우측 영구 견치와 계승 소구치의 결손, 상악 유구치의 치근흡수와 하악 유구치의 치주인대공간의 소실 및 미약한 치근흡수가 관찰되었다. 계승 영구치의 결손을 동반한 유구치 유착시 치료목표는 적절한 치조골 성장과 유치의 유지이며, 유착의 발현 시기와 치근의 흡수 정도에 따라 관찰, 수복 또는 발치 등의 치료를 고려할 수 있다. 유착치아의 발치는 인접 치조골 성장에 문제가 없고 인접치의 경사가 일어나지 않도록 최대성장점(growth spurt)을 고려하여 그 시기를 결정해야 한다. Ankylosis is defined as a fusion of cementum or dentine with alveolar bone. Due to the loss of the periodontal ligament on the ankylotic area, the tooth is incapable of continued eruption and hence is unable to follow the normal vertical development of the neighboring teeth and alveolar process. A 6-year-old female was referred to the Dept. of Pediatric Dentistry for ankylosis of primary molars and congenital missing of permanent premolars on both jaws. She had neither specific past medical history nor trauma and infection history in oral and maxillofacial region. Radiographic finding is that the maxillary primary molars were the early onset of ankylosis and had fast root resorption rate. However the mandibular primary molars were ankylosed later and being resorbed slower than maxillary primary molars. The object of treating this case is to maintain the proper alveolar bone growth and retention of deciduous molars. The point of managing this case is as follows: Proper treatment (observation, restoration, of extraction) should be established after thorough consideration of the time of onset, the root resorption rate, progression of infraocclusion and the development of alveolar bone support. We should consider the timing of extraction of the ankylosed teeth without problem of neighbouring alveolar bone growth and tilting of adjacent teeth in the view of growth spurt. Early diagnosis is important to avoid many of the complications with infraoccluded primary molars.

      • 江原道內 造景植物의 利用과 有用自生植物에 관한 硏究

        This study was executed to find out how to improve the planting and use of landscaping plants in Kangwon-Do by surveying the planting, gardens, parks, schools, etc. and the main mountains in this province to select available native plants. The result are as follows: 1. Forty-four tree species and 41 flower species were counted at 703 schools in Kangwon-Do. The major species of school trees were Juniperus chinensis, Pinus densiflora, Abies holophylla, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus koraiensis, Taxus cuspidata, Zelkova serrata, and Pinus thunbergii. The ratio of native species to exotic was 35:9. The major species of school flowers were Rosa centifolia, Forsythia koreana, Zinnia elegans, Rhododendron mucronulatum, Chrysanthemum morifolium, and Rosa rugosa. The ratio of native species to exotic was 21:20. 2. Twelve flower species and 7 tree species were designated in 18 City and Keun. The species of flowers that ,presented high designation frequency were Rhododendron schlippenbachii, Forsythia koreana, Magnolia sieboldii, and Prunus armeniaca var. ansu, the trees that presented high designation frequency were Ginkgo biloba, Pinus koraiensis, and Taxus cuspidata. 3. Eighty-seven woody plants species were planted in 2003 and 2004 in the Young Seo district (the southern area of Kangwon-Do), the ratio of native species to exotic was 56:31. The major species of woody plants were Pinus densiflora, Prunus yedoensis, Prunus sargentii, Cornus officinalis, Pyrus pyrifolia, Rhododendron yedoense var. poukhanense, Pinus koraiensis, Taxus cuspidata, Hibiscus syriacus, Forsythia koreana, Zelkova serrata, Acer triflorum, Rhododendron obutusum, and Ligustrum obtusifolium. A total of 620,000 plants were planted. 3. Eighty-seven woody plants species were planted in 2003 and 2004 in the Young Seo district (the southern area of Kangwon-Do), the ratio of native species to exotic was 56:31. The major species of woody plants were Pinus densiflora, Prunus yedoensis, Prunus sargentii, Cornus officinalis, Pyrus pyrifolia, Rhododendron yedoense var. poukhanense, Pinus koraiensis, Taxus cuspidata, Hibiscus syriacus, Forsythia koreana, Zelkova serrata, Acer triflorum, Rhododendron obutusum, and Ligustrum obtusifolium. A total of 620,000 plants were planted. 4. Eighty-three woody plants species were planted recently in Youngdong district (the eastern area of Kangwon-Do), the ratio of native species to exotic was 53:30. The major species were Pinus thunbergii, Rhododendron lateritium, Rhododendron schlippenenbachii, Hibiscus syriacus, Prunus yedoensis, Pinus densiflora, Syringa dilatata, Rhododendron yedoense var., Poukhanense, Rosa rugosa, Prunus sargentii, Rosa centifolia, Juniperus chinensis, Euonymus japonica, Forsythia koreana, Chionanthus retusus, Acer palmatum, and Chaenomeles sinensis. 5. Through these results, it was thought that a diversification of plant species, including a selection of plants suitable to each space and the general use of native species were needed. So 254 plants native to Kangwon-Do were presented to correspond to these requirements. The especially valuable wild plants were Chionanthus retusus, Acer mandshuricum, Acer tegmentosum, Celtis sinensis, Malus baccata, Syringa wolfi, Cornus controversa, Styrax japonica, Styrax obassia, Sorbus commixta, Deutzia coreana, Viburnum carlesii, Sambucus williamsii var. coreana, Philadelphus schrenckii, Echinosophora koreensis, Exochorda serratifolia, Spiraea trichocarpa, Symplocos chinensis for. Pilosa, Rhododendron brachycarpum, Rhododendron micranthum, Rosa davurica, Rhododendron mucronulatum for. albiflorum, Actinidia spp., Akebia quinata, Vitis amurensis, Aster koraiensis, Chrysanthemum boreale, Chrysanthemum zawadskii var. latilobum, Dianthus sinensis, Heloniopsis orientalis, Hosta lancifolia, Hylomecon vernale, Leontopodium coreanum, Lilium spp., Aceriphyllum rossii, Paeonia obovata, Patrinia saniculaefolia, Primula sieboldi, Convallaria keiskei, Sedum kamtschaticum, and Saxifraga fortunei var. incisolobata.

        Uranium-containing aqueous wastes have been treated by electrosorption on a carbon electrode composed of activated carbon fibers(ACFs) in a continuous flow-through cell. Effective uranium (VI) removal is accomplished when a negative potential in the range of -0.3 to -0.9V (vs. Ag/AgCI) is applied to the carbon electrode. For a feed concentration of 350mg/l, the concentration of U(VI) in the cell effluent is reduced to less than lmg/l. Electrosorption capacity over 552 mg_uranium/g_ACF is reached.
