    The purpose of this study was to look into the factors influencing ability of the game and to give information on selecting the superior player.
    In elementary school, twenty boys of sixth grade were selected as subject for swimmer, football player and, athletes.
    It measured and compared eight items of physique, four items of body composition and six items of physical fitness as test items
    The correlation was analyzed to find out the relationship of physique to body composition, physical fitness to body composition, and physique to physical fitness in each sports.
    1. The comparison of swimmers, football players, and athletes physiques,
    1) The football player was superior to swimmer and athletes only in the thigh girth.
    2) Standing height, sitting height, upper limb length, lower limb length, upper arm girth, chest girth, and body weight all had little significance.
    Football players had the same standing height, sitting height, upper limb length, lower limb length, upper arm girth, chest girth, and body weight as swimmers and athletes.
    2. Body composition comparison.
    1) Swimmer was better than football player and athletes in percentage of body fat(%fat) and total body fat(%TBF).
    2) Football players and athletes were superior to swimmer when comparing body density.
    3) There were no significant differences in lean body mass.
    3. Comparison of physical fitness
    1) Athletes was superior to swimmer and football player in muscular endurance, power, flexibility and agility.
    2) There weren't any significant differences in muscle strength and balance.
    4. The correlation analysis of physique, body composition and physique fitness.
    1) The interrelations of the swimmer's
    The swimmer had significant interrelationship between standing height and sitting height(.947), chest girth and body weight(.929), body density and percent body fat(-.999), grip strength and upper limb length(.844), and standing long jump and body density(.699).
    2) Interrelationships of football player
    The football player had significant interrelationships between standing height and sitting height(.952), thigh girth and upper arm girth(.926), body weight and lean body mass(.955), percent body fat and total body fat(.971), and grip strength and. upper limb length(.903).
    3) The interrelationship of the athletes'
    The athletes had the significant interrelationship in the parts of standing height and upper limb length(.970), upper arm girth and grip strength(.772), body weight and total body fat(.991), percent body fat and total body fat(.828), and standing long jump and sitting height(.743)
    5. The canonical correlation analysis of physique, body composition and physical fitness
    Swimmer, football player, athletes all had high interrelationships between physique and body composition(.987), body composition and physical fitness(.973), physique and physical fitness(.967).
    6. Regression analysis of physique and body composition.
    1) For swimmer and football player muscle strength was influenced by upper limb length, while in athletes was influenced by chest girth and upper limb length.
    2) Football player's muscular endurance was influenced a great deal by upper arm girth
    3) Swimmer and football player's power were influenced by upper arm girth and lower limb length, and in athletes by sitting height.
    4) Football player's flexibility was influenced by standing height and sitting height.
    5) Athletes' agility was influenced by lower limb length.
