The purpose of this study is to examine previous documents and researches in order to gain theoretical knowledge and comprehension on the organization commitment, through the self-efficacy and merit rating system by the survey onto the employees in the companies within Jyeonnam region. It is also to analyze empirically the degree of the self-efficacy and organization commitment by the contents of the merit rating system.
The degree of organization commitment and job satisfaction of the employees was examined by the self-efficacy and manpower resources. Furthermore, based on the employee classification by sex, age, length of one's service, types of one's employment, characteristics of respective employee and the degree of organization commitment and job satisfaction were investigated in order to provide practical helps to the companies in their operations.
To achieve the objectives of this study, theories of the previous documents were reviewed for five items of the manpower resources which were, carrier developments, welfare benefits, merit rating, consultation and communications. Based on this review, six assumptions were set and questionnaire was conducted for inspection. The SPSS WIN 10.0 was used for the material analysis, factor analysis, reasonableness inspection and reliability analysis. To examine the status changes among factor variables, the correlation analysis and regression analysis were also conducted. It was shown that individual characteristics and the self-efficacy of the members of the organization had positive(+) influence in an organization. Moreover, such a self-efficacy had influences on the organization commitment and job satisfaction.
The efforts should be constantly made to develop abilities of the members and to enhance the job performance within the organization. In such a process, the precise investigation of the results rather than the reprimand for the failure results was to be recommended, in order to enhance self-confidence for the organization members and to elevate the self-efficacy, ultimately contributing to individual developments as well as organizational validity.
