ETUDE를 활용한 배우의 인물구축에 관한 연구 : 안톤 체홉의 <바냐 아저씨>를 중심으로 = (The) Study on Actor's Building of the Character through the Etude Application : Application of text that <Uncle Vanya> Written by Anton Chekhov

국문 초록 (Abstract)

배우는 연극에서 매우 중요한 존재로, 연습기간 동안 준비해온 자신의 역할을 무대를 통해 관객에게 보여주게 된다.
따라서 배우는 무대에서 관객에게 보일 자신의 역할을 창조하기 위하여 역할을 분석하는 단계에 이르게 된다. 이 단계에서 배우는 작품에 나타나는 상황과 자료 등을 조합하여, 자신의 인물 구축에 적용하게 되는 것이다.
그러므로 배우는 작가에 의해 작품에 제시된 내용들과 직접적으로 제시되지 않은 부분들을 발견하고, 추측해내야만 한다.
콘스탄틴 스타니슬랍스키(K. S. Stanislavski)는 '신체적 행위법(The Method of Physical Action)'을 통해 배우가 심리-신체적인 행동을 의식적으로 이끌어내어 무의식적인 창조 세계에 도달하는 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 그것의 실질적 활용을 위한 방법으로 에쮸드(Etude)가 등장하였다.
본 논문에서는 에쮸드의 다양한 활용 중 인물이 등장하기 전의 상황과 작품에 드러나지 않는 상황을 에쮸드로 활용하는 방법을 통해, 에쮸드가 배우의 인물 구축에 어떻게 활용되는지를 살펴보기로 한다.
이에 실질적인 방법을 위해, 안톤 체홉(Anton Chekhov)의 작품인 ＜바냐 아저씨(Uncle Vanya)＞에 등장하는 주요 인물들의 인물 구축에 적용하기로 한다.
이러한 에쮸드의 활용을 통해 이성(sensitivity), 감성(emotionality), 신체(sound and the body)로 분리되어 훈련된 배우는 스스로 그것을 혼합하고, 조절하는 능력을 익히게 되며, 작가가 제시한 인물을 자신만의 관점과 분석을 통해 구체적이고 능동적인 자신만의 인물로 재창조하게 된다.
그러므로 본 논문은 에쮸드를 배우의 인물구축에 활용하고, 배우가 역할의 실질적인 행동을 발견하기까지의 내용을 문서화하여 이론으로 정립함으로써 배우 수업을 하는 학생들과 지도자들에게 모형을 제시하여, 연기 교육과 연기 예술의 전문화에 이바지 하는 것을 목표로 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The actor is very important presentational medium on theater, who meets audience by character on the stage. Then actor shows his character that he prepared at rehearsal period.
The actor must pass the phase of analyzed character for creating his character. He synthesizes situations and materials, that presented at the play. So he applies his building of the character.
Accordingly, the actor must find and guess presented contents by playwriter and hidden parts in the play.
Through 'The Method of Physical Action', K. S. Stanislayski presented how to approach the unconsciousness creative world. The method leads to material of psycho-physical action consciously. It presented the Etude with substantial method. Its practical method is Etude.
On this thesis, one of all method in Etude, we take the Etude method that situation before the entrance of character and hidden parts in the play. Then we find that how to use the Etude for building of character.
So, for the practical method, I present that the Etude method through the ＜Uncle Vanya＞ written by Anton Chekhov.
Through the application of this Etude, actor who is constituted with emotionality, sensitivity, sound and the body, realizes method of mixture and application. Also he has his purposes and analysis of character, made by playwriter. So It is possible that actor creates actively and concretely his character. That is only his one.
Therefore, on this thesis, I make the practical method of Etude in written form. So I present immediate method for actors and masters of acting. That is my subject.
