靑少年의 인터넷 中毒과 學校生活 適應과의 關係 硏究 = (The) relationship between the internet addiction and adaptability of juveniles to school

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정보사회에서 인터넷은 사회·문화 전반에 걸쳐 놀라운 변화를 가져온 기술의 대혁신이라고 할 수 있다. 인터넷은 90년대에 들어 빠른 속도로 보급되면서 우리 삶 자체에 영향을 주고 있다. 우리 나라에서도 10대와 20대를 중심으로 사용인구가 급속히 증가하면서 새로운 인터넷 문화를 형성해 가고 있다. 이러한 인터넷의 급속한 보급은 긍정적인 부분도 있지만 동시에 부정적이며 바람직하지 못한 부분이 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 중독이라는 용어가 아직 공식화되지 않았지만 ‘인터넷 중독자’라는 용어를 사용하여 연구를 실시하였다.
본 연구에서는 청소년의 인터넷 중독과 학교생활 적응과의 관계를 분석하기 위해, 인천 시내 중학교 1학년부터 고등학교 2학년 남녀 청소년을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 인터넷 중독 청소년은 37.3%에 해당하고 나머지 62.6%의 청소년은 일반사용자였다.
연구결과 인터넷의 중독의 실태로는 대부분의 청소년이 집에서 인터넷을 사용하며, 인터넷 중독 청소년들은 게임과 오락을 위해, 성인 사이트 방문을 위해 주로 인터넷을 사용하고 있으며, 학부모와 교사의 청소년 인터넷 사용에 대한 통제와 교육은 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않으며, 인터넷 사용에 대한 부정적 현상을 하나의 시대의 흐름으로 파악하고 방임에 가까운 결과를 나타냈으며, 인터넷 중독자의 인터넷사용은 학교생활적응에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 인터넷 중독 청소년이 일반사용자 청소년보다는 학교생활 적응에 전반적으로 약한 부적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 학교수업과 인터넷 중독과의 상관관계가 가장 높았으며, 그 다음이 학교규칙, 교사관계, 교우관계의 순서로 학교생활 적응에 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 인터넷 중독 청소년은 전반적으로 학교생활에 불편을 가져온다고 할 수 있겠다. 이는 인터넷의 중독적 사용에 대한 학교의 노력과 지도가 필요함을 의미한다.
따라서 청소년들의 인터넷 사용의 올바른 정착과 긍정적 효과를 위해서 우리의 인터넷 문화를 정립해 나가려는 노력과 함께 인터넷 사용에 대한 교육이 청소년을 상대로 학교와 가정에서 우선적으로 이루어져야 한다. 인터넷 중독적 사용에 대한 염려와 문제시보다는 인터넷 문화를 건전하게 전환시킬 필요와 연구가 국가적으로, 사회적으로 이루어져야 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In information field, Internet has been brought amazing technological innovation to overall reage of the society and culture. As personal computers and Internet have become widely popular, our lives have been changing with the increasing effect of them. The development of Internet gives benefits on our lives in that we could access to information rapidly and accurately. However, Internet has the side effect, called “Internet addiction”.
In order to analyze the relationship between the web addiction and the adaptability of juveniles to school, targeted from a first year of Middle school to second year High school boys and girls, in Incheon Metropolitan City.
According to the results of the survey, 37.3% of subjets show the symptom of web addiction, and the rest 62.6% do not have the symptom. Internet addicted students of subjects respond that the main purpose of using Internet is to play on-line games and to join adult sites and only a few of them to access to useful information for study. Subjects usually use Internet at home and the survey shows that parents and teachers do not care about it. The results show that students who suffer from serve internet addiction have problems to lead a normal life and adapt themselves to school.
According to the result of analysis on subordinate variables of adaptability to school, the priority order of problems appear study, school rule, relationship with teachers and relationship with friends. For Internet to be properly established, it is necessary to develop education programs and conduct campaigns to change the current
Internet culture. Education on how to use Internet appropriately should be provided to students. On-line safety net for young Internet users should be installed and developed. With the effort to prevent the web addition and treat web addicts, we should eduacte rules on using Internet for student.
