전국 규모 스포츠 대회 개최가 지역사회 경제에 미치는 효과 : 안동과 예천지역을 중심으로 = Local Economic Effects of Holoding a Nationwide Sport Meeting

This study aims to clarify the effects of holding a nationwide sport event on the community economy. For this study, community economic variables and data from a resident awareness survey were used. Records and resources related to this study were systematically collected and, along with theoretical research, the questionnaire was also composed through general variable modification. The questionnaire was used to estimate cost during a nationwide sport meeting. The cost was estimated using people who were related to the sport team, and participated in soccer and archery events held in Andong and Yechon.
An SPSS / PC + was used for collecting data analysis and frequency analysis was also used as an analysis method.
The results of the above research method and procedure were as follows.
First, profit from participant spending during National High school Soccer Meeting, came to 240,000,000 won.
Second, when the economic effects of two national archery meetings were analysed, and only participants teams were valued, there was about a 230,000,000 won profit
Food and board expenses occupied the biggest portion of the two meetings expenditure. It could be assumed that sport participants and tourists were the main factors influencing local economy, though this point was excluded in this study. This paper recommends that more studies on objective analysis of the sport-related people and tourists should be continued.
Third, residents responded that the following 9 items were effects of a national sport meeting on the local economy; expanding road and transportation 93.94%, increasing income from tourism 93.95%, expanding specialty marketing 91.91%, improving the image of companies 90.41%, regional public relations 93.44%, creating various occupations 85.36%, more job openings 82.32%, securing budget 90.90%, economic growth 92.41%. These 9 economic variables showed the positive influences of holding a sport meeting.
