아동기 가정폭력경험이 대학생의 데이트 폭력에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 문제해결능력의 조절효과를 중심으로 = (The) influence of family violence experience of child on dating violence of college students : focused on moderating effects of social problem-solving ability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

데이트는 친밀하고 상호작용이 높은 관계로 데이트 중인 남녀간에는 갈등이 자주 발생할 수 있고, 갈등상황에서는 폭력이 발생할 가능성이 존재한다. 실제로, 일반적인 생각과는 달리 데이트 폭력 발생률은 상당한 수준에 이른다. 사회학습이론에서는 가정에서의 직․간접적인 폭력 경험이 친밀한 대인관계에서 갈등이 발생했을 때 폭력을 사용하도록 하는 영향요인이 될 수 있음을 설명한다. 또한, 문제 상황을 해결하는 개인적인 능력은 갈등상황에서의 폭력 발생에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이성교제가 활발한 대학생들의 데이트 폭력 발생에 주목하며, 아동기 가정폭력경험이 데이트 폭력에 미치는 영향과 이에 대한 사회적 문제해결능력의 조절효과를 밝히고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울․경기 지역에 소재한 대학의 재학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 11.5를 이용하여 분석하였고 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 데이트 상대에게 행한 정서폭력은 70.6% 발생하였다. 종교가 없는 경우, 가족 소득이 높을수록, 교제기간이 길수록, 아동학대와 부모간 폭력 목격을 모두 경험한 경우 데이트 정서폭력의 발생정도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 데이트 상대에 대한 신체폭력은 9.4% 발생하였다. 여성이며, 종교가 없는 경우, 아동학대와 부모간 폭력 목격을 모두 경험한 경우 데이트 신체폭력의 발생이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 문제해결능력이 가정폭력경험이 데이트 정서폭력에 미치는 영향을 완화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 하위차원 중 문제해결지향이 가정폭력경험과 데이트 정서폭력의 관계에 대한 조절효과가 있었다. 넷째, 사회적 문제해결능력은 가정폭력경험이 데이트 신체폭력에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 요인으로 나타났다. 하위차원 중 문제해결기술이 가정폭력과 데이트 신체폭력의 관계를 조절하는 효과가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 다음과 같은 사회복지적 함의를 갖는다. 우선, 데이트 폭력 발생률이 높은 것은 폭력에 대한 인식 증진과 폭력 예방을 위한 프로그램 마련이 필요하고, 데이트 폭력 피해자에 대한 개입이 필요함을 제안한다. 둘째, 가정폭력경험이 데이트 폭력에 영향을 미친다는 결과는 가정에서 발생하는 폭력을 경험하는 아동에 대한 치료적, 예방적 개입과 부모교육이 이루어져야 함을 제안한다. 셋째, 사회적 문제해결능력이 데이트 폭력의 영향요인이 된다는 점에서, 대인관계에서 나타나는 개인의 다양한 특성이 데이트 폭력에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이를 기반으로 미혼 남녀에 대한 데이트 폭력 예방 프로그램의 내용을 구성해야 할 필요성을 제시한다. 넷째, 건강한 이성교제와 데이트 폭력 예방을 위한 교육과 프로그램을 제공할 공간으로 사회복지의 영역을 대학교와 중․고등학교로 확대하여 접근할 필요성을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A date is the intimate and highly interactive relationship. During date, conflicts, which cause possibilities of violence, can be often taken place between a couple. In fact, rates of dating violence are high level contrary to a general idea. Social learning theory explains that direct or indirect violence experiences in family can be significant factors to use violence when conflicts happen in intimate personal relationships. Also, it can be expected that personal abilities to solve problems influence occurrence of violence in conflict''s situations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the influence of family violence experiences of child on dating violence of college students, and to find out the moderating effects of social problem-solving abilities.To obtain this purpose, subject was college students from Seoul and Gyunggi areas, and data collected was analyzed by SPSS 11.5.The major findings in this study are the following.First, dating psychological violence happens 70.6 percent. When target students earn high family income, have long relationships, have experiences both child abuse and watching married couple''s violence, and do not have religion, rates of dating psychological violence are getting higher.Second, dating physical violence happens 9.4 percent. When target students are female, have experiences both child abuse and watching married couple''s violence, and do not have religion, rates of dating physical violence are getting higher. Third, social problem-solving ability was the factor to mitigate the influence of dating psychological violence. Problem solving orientation of sub-dimensions have moderating effects to relationships between family violence experiences and dating psychological violence.Forth, social problem-solving ability showed to mitigate the influence of dating physical violence affected by family violence experiences. Problem solving skill of sub-dimensions have moderating effects to relationships between family violence experiences and dating physical violence.Based on the findings, the implications in terms of the field of social work are the following:First, perception''s increase about family violence experiences and the programs to prevent dating violence. Also, interventions to victims of dating violence are needed.Second, the result that family violence experiences influence dating violence suggests that parent''s education, therapeutic, and preventive interventions be applied to children who have experienced family violence directly or indirectly.Third, as social problem-solving ability is the factor of dating violence, pervention programs of dating violence between unmarried male and female should be consisted of after understanding influence of dating violence on various individual characters.Forth, to provide education for a healthy date and prevention of dating violence, various programs are needed in middle and high schools as areas of social welfare.
