변화하는 교육환경에 따른 뉴스포츠의 현장 활용 소개와 적용방안 = (The) way of introducing and applying new sports to school conforming to the change of the educational environment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 교육 환경 변화에 따른 뉴스포츠의 현장소개 및 적용방안으로 현재의 교육환경은 과거와는 매우 다르게 혼성학급, 학급당 인원수의 감소, 사교육비 경감으로 인한 예체능과목의 평가 개선안 등 변화하는 환경에 맞게 뉴스포츠가 현장에서 갖는 의미가 새롭게 부각되고 있다. 현장에 적용된 사례를 중심으로 질적 연구 방법을 이용하였고, 뉴스포츠를 접한 학생들의 체육에 대한 경험, 교사의 철학, 교육과정의 해석, 신념 등 개인의 풍부하고 주관적인 경험을 이끌어 내기 위해서는 양적 연구방법 보다는 질적 접근을 통해 이해 될 수 있는 성질의 것들이기 때문이기에 질적인 분석을 통하여 해답을 찾아보았다. 본 연구의 자료 수집은 총 11주에 걸쳐 이루어졌고 내용분석으로 연구 참여자의 현장 경험 기술 및 자기소개서, 연구자 반성일지, 문헌자료, 면접노트를 활용하고, 심층면접으로 연구 참여자의 개인면접과 단체면접을 실시하였으며, 참여관찰은 현장관찰일지와 비디오 녹화로 이루어졌으며 수집 된 자료는 주제별 약호화, 의미 범주화, 의미 개념화의 3단계 분석과정을 통해 결과를 제시하였다.교육 환경의 변화에 따른 뉴스포츠의 현장소개 및 적용방안에서 결과는 7차 체육과 교육과정에서 뉴스포츠가 적용될 수 있는 이론적 근거로는 내용 부분에서 8가지 영역마다 교과서 외에 여러 가지 종목 등을 할 수 있다는 근거를 제시하며, 교수 ․ 학습 방법에서 혼성학급 부분을 살펴보면 남녀 혼성 체육프로그램을 보다 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서 학습 목표는 남녀의 학생의 개인차에 의거하여 탄력성 있게 설정되어야 하며, 학습자 각 개인의 잠재 능력 개발에 초점을 두어 구성하고, 체육 프로그램에서는 기존 시설과 용기구의 규격을 바꾸거나 전통적인 스포츠의 방법, 규칙, 작전 등을 변형하여 남녀가 모두 부담 없이 즐겨 참여할 수 있도록 개발 적용한다.’라고 제시하는 부분을 근거로 적용할 수 있었다.변화하는 교육 환경에 따른 뉴스포츠의 현장 적용에는 혼성학급에 대한 대안으로 여학생이 기존의 전통 중심의 남성스포츠에서 소외받는 것에서 남녀가 같이 동등한 입장에서 게임을 즐기고 다양한 학생의 움직임 욕구를 실현하는 장이 되도록 하였다. 또 기존 스포츠의 변형 형태로 학교 현장에서 하기 어려운 종목들이 뉴스포츠로 현장 적용 되었으며, 다양한 움직임에 대한 욕구로서의 뉴스포츠의 현장 적용으로 모든 학생들이 다양한 욕구와 개성을 충분히 발휘할 수 있는 다양한 가치를 반영할 수 있는 스포츠로 주목을 받고 있고, 특별활동, 특기적성 교육으로 확대 적용되는 모습을 보였으며, 앞으로 주5일제의 토요 체험 학습일 에서도 뉴스포츠는 매우 의미 있는 학생들의 체육관련 활동으로 중요한 의미를 가지게 된다. 뉴스포츠의 정착 방안으로 교사연수, 학부모와 교사의 의식이 변화, 교육청 역할의 제고, 현장의 시설 확충 등이 있으며, 무엇보다도 현장 교사의 노력과 열정이 중요하다고 말하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to research the way of introducing and Applying New Sports to school Conforming to the change of educational environment. Changes in educational environment such as the co-ed class, smaller class size, and the revised way of evaluating the art & P․E subject due to the measure for reducing the private educational cost has drawn the attention to the New Sports in school. This study was analysed qualitatively focused on the actual cases in school for bringing forth the individual subjective experiences of the students and the teachers such as the students'' experiences of New Sports, the philosophy and beliefs of teachers, and their interpretation of the curriculum. The data was collected for 11 weeks, and the content analysis was done with the researcher''s description of actual experiences, the reflective journal, the literature data, and the interview note. For the interview in depth the personal and group interview were implemented, and for the observation the observation record and video recording were used. The collected data was analysed through the three-step procedure of the thematic designation, semantic categorization, and semantic conceptualization. The most meaningful results from the applied New Sports in school are as follows: First, it could provide both boys and girls with the equal opportunity for enjoying the game and actualizing their desire for various kinds of moving instead of alienating girls from the traditional male centered sports . Second, it could be possible to introduce the games which had not been available in school conditions in the way of New Sports, which has encouraged all the students to do their best in performing what they could do and wanted to do. Third, the New Sports applied to the class has spread out to be introduced to the club activities and the extra-curricular activities, and for the five-day week it can take an important role of students'' physical education activities. To establish New Sports in school teachers and parents should change their understanding of New Sports and the school administrator should be receptive to New Sports. Also, there should be teachers'' training program, the expanded role of the district office of education, and the equipment of facilities.
