      The purpose of this study is to explore an effect on the 6th grade elementary school students' Self-Conception by the parents-children' communication which is categorised the communication frequency and the acceleration communication.
      In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, problems of this study were specified as follows :
      Fitst, To what does parent-students' communication frequency and students' gender, the number of brothers and sisters, parent's academic career, and job relate?
      Second, To what does students' acceleration-communication and students' gender, the number of brothers and sisters, parent's academic career, and job relate?
      Third, To what does students' self-conception and students' gender, the number of brothers and sisters, parent's academic career, and job relate?
      Fourth, To what does parent-students'communication frequency and students'self-conception relate?
      Fifth, To what does parent-students' communication frequency and students' self-conception relate?
      The subjects of this study was sampled elementary school students' 308 people at random at 4 elementary schools in Mokpo, except for insincere answers among these students.
      The instruments of this study were the communication inventory for parent-children made by Gim Young-Gu(1992) and the self-conception inventory made by Seo Woo-Sug(1992).
      The data were disposed with using the Descriptive, F-test and T-test of SPSS/PC+
      The major findings of this study are as follow:
      1) Relating to parent-students' communications, all most students' communications with parent per one or two in a week and one third of students' have no communications with parent. In acceleration communications with parent not many students' is occupied at high level and almost students are performing with the normative communication, so teachers should-inform parent, about the knowledge, the method of communications.
      2) The order of students' self-conception developed is the social, moral, phtsic self-conception and academic, personality of self conception are developed low. So adults should concorn the developing students' self-conception harmony.
      3) Relating communications frequency and students' self-conception, the more is communications frequency, physic, social, moral, personality and academic self-conception develop the more. So the communication frequency influence to develop the students' self-conception.
      4) Acceleration-communications influence social, moral, academic self conception, specially academic self conception is apparent influenced with the acceleration communications.
      5) Relating the communications frequency and acceleration communications and parent's academic career, the lower is parent's academic career, parent-pupils' communication frequency is lower, but the acceleration communication is not related with parent's academic career. In job manager, clerk professonal parent's perform the communication frequency more than the other job and no difference by sex
      According to the results of this study, students' self-conception is developed by the communication frequency and the acceleration communication. So parents should encourage their offspring in a communication frequency, further the acceleration communication should be generalized for students' developing self-conception.
