The aim of this study is to identify the influence of the adult female's Participation in sports-dance has on the satisfaction of leisure. To attain this aim, this study sampled 450 females over the ages of 20 through simple random sampling. They participated in the dances-ports programs for more than 3 months. The programs were opened at Continuing Education Center, Culture Center, Female Welfare Center and the private dance institutes located in the two cities of Gyeongsangbukdo.
As a research instrument, this study used the questionnaire on the satisfaction of leisure, developed by Beard and Ragheb (1980) and standardized by I Jonggil (1992).
The analysis of the material was performed through the instruments as following; the test of the reliance of each subordinate variant of the variants which were set up in this study, the calculation of average and standard deviation, One-way ANOVA.
The conclusions of this study attained through these research methods
and procedures are the following;
1. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with the level of economic strength, the higher the level of economic strength was, the higher the satisfaction of leisure was. Therefore it exhibited a significant difference statistically. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with occupation status, the satisfaction of those who have an occupation was higher than that of those who didn't have an occupation. Therefore it exhibited a significant difference statistically. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with ages and marital status, it didn't exhibit a significant difference statistically. Therefore, it is thought that ages and marital status have no influence on the satisfaction.
2. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with the frequency of participation, the psychological, educational, social, rest and physiological factors exhibited a significant difference. However, environmental factors didn't exhibit a significant difference. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with the earnestness of participation, the psychological, educational,
social and physiological factors exhibited a significant difference.
However, rest and environmental factors didn't exhibit a significant difference. On the satisfaction of leisure in accordance with the period of
participation, all factors, such as, psychological, educational, social, rest, physiological and environmental factors exhibited a very significant difference.
