사회ㆍ문화적 변화에 따른 21세기 초 실내디자인 트렌드 연구 : 멀티플렉스 영화관의 서비스공간 계획을 중심으로 = (A) study on the early 21 century interior design trend which is based on the socio-cultural change : Focused on the service area of multiplex cinema

국문 초록 (Abstract)

20세기 우리가 상상하던 미래는 첨단 기기로 둘러싸인 완벽하게 인공적인 도시 광경이었다. 주변의 매체 속에서 기계로 둘러싸여 삭막하고 메마른 환경 또는 우주공간처럼 너무나 사이버적인 공간이 우리가 꿈꿔오던 세계인 것처럼 그려져 있었다. 그러나 21세기에 들어선 현재 우리가 바라는 미래의 모습은 무엇인가?
디자인은 미래의 인간생활환경을 예측하는 것이다. 따라서 디자인 결과의 성패는 과거부터 변화되어온 환경의 흐름을 파악하고 미래의 디자인을 정확하게 예측하여 미래에 수용될 수 있는 대안을 어떻게 제시하느냐에 달려 있다.
이에 본 연구는 20세기 후반 트렌드의 흐름을 토대로 21세기 초의 사회 · 문화적 변화에 따른 실내디자인 트렌드를 분석 · 전방함으로써 근 미래의 실내디자인 트렌드를 예측하여 활용할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 또한 이와 같은 트렌드가 적극 반영된 문화공간이어야 함에도 불구하고 현재 지나치게 상업적인 소비공간으로 운영되고 있는 멀티플렉스 영화관에 본 연구의 결론으로 도출된 근 미래의 실내디자인 트렌드를 적용함으로써 21세기의 진정한 문화공간으로서의 멀티플렉스 영화관의 서비스공간을 제시하였다.
이를 위하여 문헌연구를 통해 트렌드의 개념과 사회 · 문화적 트렌드 및 실내디자인 트렌드의 의미에 대해 고찰하며, 실증연구로 20세기 후반에서 21세기 초를 1970년대, 1980년대, 1990년대, 2000년대 초로 나누어 트렌드의 형성배경과 사회 · 문화적 흐름 및 실내디자인의 변화를 파악하여 서로의 상관성을 밝히고, 그것을 토대로 21세기 초의 사회 · 문화적 트렌드에 따른 실내디자인 트렌드를 2000년에서 2004~5년까지 각각 색채, 형태 및 패턴, 재료 및 질감 등으로 세분화하여 분석 전망하였다. 그리고 작품연구를 통해 멀티플렉스 영화관에 대한 개념 및 사회 · 문화적 배경과 의의를 밝히고 서비스공간의 의미와 구성에 대해 기술하며, 국내외 멀티플렉스 영화관 서비스공간의 구성현황을 트렌드 적용의 관점에서 분석하였다.
이러한 진행과정을 통한 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 21세기 초의 사회 · 문화적 트렌드는 공동체 속의 정신적 안식과 자연으로의 회귀, 이(異)문화간의 조화와 인텔리전트한 고급화 지향, 즐거움과 환상 모험의 유토피아 추구, 여성적 사고와 탈 남성화 등으로 요약할 수 있다.
둘째, 21세기 초의 실내디자인 트렌드는 인공적 자연미와 정제된 빈티지, 동양 · 고전감각의 재조명과 신(新)귀족스타일, 창조적 유희본능과 환타지의 신비, 감성적 로맨틱과 복고풍의 기하학 등으로 요약할 수 있으며 근 미래에도 지속될 전망이다.
셋째, 색채, 형태 및 패턴, 재료 및 질감으로 세분화한 2004~5년의 실내디자인 트렌드 중 인공적 자연미와 정제된 빈티지 트렌드는 바랜 듯한 베이지, 회색빛 뉴트럴에 비정형적 곡선과 자연모티브의 현대적 패턴, 흙 · 돌 등의 자연 소재와 수채화식 염색 우드 등으로 표현되고, 동양 · 고전감각의 재조명과 신(新)귀족스타일 트렌드는 강한 광택의 레드와 골드, 신비스러운 다크계열에 수공예적인 정교한 형태와 중동 풍의 전통 패턴, 자개 · 가죽 등의 천연 소재, 상감기법 등으로 연출될 것으로 전망하였다. 또한 창조적 유희본능과 환타지의 신비 트렌드는 원색 레드, 오렌지에 비정형적인 코믹한 형태, 빛에 의한 패턴 레이어, 유리, 아크릴, 젤라틴 등으로 연출되고, 감성적 로맨틱과 복고풍의 기하학 트렌드는 모노톤 베이스에 파스텔 색채, 물방울 패턴, 큰 꽃 · 레이스 패턴, 채색된 크리스탈, 다색의 모자이크 타일 등으로 표현될 것으로 전망하였다.
넷째, 이상과 같이 도출된 2004~5년의 실내디자인 트렌드를 크게 내추럴 노블레스, 로맨틱 환타지의 두 개념으로 재구성하여 멀티플렉스 영화관의 서비스 공간에 적용하였으며, 이는 사람들의 변화된 라이프스타일과 가치관에 부합할 뿐 아니라 새로운 미래 환경을 제시하는 공간을 창출하고자 함이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The future that we imagined in the 20th was a perfect scene of artificial city surrounded by ultramodern equipment. Dreary and bleak environment surrounded by machine or too imaginary space like the universe was described as if we wanted so. But considering it is 21th now, what is the future image that we want?
With the design, we can expect human's life environment of the future. The success and failure for the design depends on how we will offer the solution that can be accepted in the future by observing the environment that has changed since the past and expecting the design for the future.
So the purpose of this study is to make use of the trend through the expectation about the trend of interior design of the following future by analyzing and prospecting the trend of interior design which is based on the socio-cultural change of the early 21th on the basis of the trend of the late 20th. Although there must be cultural area that reflect such a trend very well, service areas of multiplex cinemas were offered as cultural areas of the 21th by applying the trend of interior design of the following future resulted from the effect of this study.
By studying the documents, while we considered the meaning of the trend, the socio-cultural and interior design trend, we observed the situation where the trend was formed, socio-cultural trend, the change of interior design to find out mutual relation by dividing the period from the late 20th to the early 21th into 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. On the basis of this, we subdivided the trend of interior design according to socio-cultural trend of the early 21th into each color, shape ＆ pattern, material ＆ texture from 2000 to 2004~2005. Also through research about the work, we found out the meaning of multiplex cinemas, socio-cultural situation and meaning, and described the meaning ＆ organization of service areas, and analyzed the situation of organizing domestic ＆ abroad multiplex cinemas from the viewpoint of the trend application.
The results of this research through above process are as follows.
First, the socio-cultural trend of early 21th can be summarized as mental relaxation among groups, the return to nature, harmony of different cultures, pursuit of intelligent superiority and utopia for pleasure ＆ fantastic adventure, girlish thought, and transvirilism and so on.
Second, the trend of interior design in the early 21th can be summarized as artificial ＆ natural beauty, refined vintage, research of oriental ＆ classical sensibility, new noble style, creative sportive instinct, mystery of fantasy, sensitive romance, reactive style and so on. It seems that the trend will be continued in the following future, too.
Third, the trend of artificial ＆ natural beauty and refined vintage subdivided into color, shape ＆ pattern, material ＆ texture and quality among interior design from 2004 to 2005 is expressed as faded-like beige, gray ＆ non-fixed curve, modern pattern motivated from nature, natural materials like soil, stone, and wood for dyeing of watercolor style and so on. It is expected that research about oriental ＆ classical sensibility and the trend of new noble style will be created as lustrous red, gold, mystical dark-colored, handicraft stylish, delicate shape, and traditional pattern of middle-east style, natural materials like nacre ＆ leather, marquetry technique and so on. It is also expected that creative sportive instinct and the trend of mystical fantasy will be created as original red and orange, non-fixed ＆ funny shape, pattern layer by light, glass, acryl, gelatine and so on. It is expected that the trend of sensitive romance ＆ reactive style will be expressed as pastel color, waterdrop pattern, big flower, lace, colored crystal, colorful mosaic tile etc on the basis of monotonous ground.
Fourth, the trend of interior design from 2004 to 2005 was re-organized as two meanings of natural noblesse and romantic fantasy to be applied in service areas of multiplex theaters because this corresponds with people's changed lifestyle and sense of value and creates the area that presents new environment of the future.
