漢文敎科의 價値觀 形成 授業方案 硏究 : 第7次 敎育課程 中學校 3學年 敎科書를 中心으로 = (A) Study on Teaching Method of Values in Chinese-Writing Class : the case of middle school textbook for grade 3 in the 7th national curricula

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 과학기술의 발달로 급격하게 사회가 변동하고 있으며, 경제적으로 매우 풍요로운 생활을 하고 있지만 그 이면에는 인간소외현상, 공동체 의식의 약화, 자기 중심적인 사고, 물질 만능주의 등이 만연하고 있다. 또한 청소년들과 관련해서는 학교폭력과 패륜현상, 그리고 비행청소년들이 급격하게 증가하고 있는데 이러한 행동들은 가치관이 뚜렷하게 정립되지 않았기 때문에 일어난 행동들로 보여진다.
따라서 학교 교육을 통해 바른 가치관, 건전한 정신, 인성을 올바르게 형성시키고 그것을 발판으로 지적(知的)내용을 교육하고 건강한 신체를 겸비토록 하여 지 덕 체를 골고루 겸비한 올바른 청소년으로 성장할 수 있도록 지도하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 하겠다.
본 연구는 먼저 제7차 교육과정에 따른 중학교 3학년 한문 교과서의 체제와 교과서 내용 중 가치관 영역을 효도관, 교우관, 면학관, 국가관, 예절관의 5개 영역으로 분류하여 분석해 보았다.
그 결과 5개 영역으로 구분한 가치덕목의 주요 내용은 다음과 같았다.
첫째, 효도관에서는 자식으로서 부모님에게 해야 할 바른 도리를 강조하였다
둘째, 교우관에서는 친구를 사귀는 법과 친구의 도리를 말하고 있다.
셋째, 면학관에서는 독서의 중요성을 강조하고 사물의 이치와 사람의 도리를 다하기 위해서는 배워야한다는 점을 제시하고 있다.
넷째, 국가관에서는 죽음이 눈앞에 와도 두려워하지 않고 나라를 위하는 애국의 내용을 담고 있었다.
다섯째, 예절관에서는 사람의 언행, 약속의 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 위의 분석을 바탕으로 가치관 형성의 수업모형을 학생들에게 적용하여 보았다. 먼저 학생들에게 효도관을 제시한 단원을 지도한 후 토론전략을 이용하여 수업을 진행하였다. 기존의 교사 중심의 일방적 강의수업에 비해 가치관과 관련된 내용에 대해 학생들은 발표를 통해 적극적으로 자신의 의사를 표현하였다.
토론수업 후에 실시된 설문에서 학생들은 이를 통해 볼 때 가치관이 내면화되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 한문수업을 통해서 가치와 관련된 내용을 접할 수 있었으며, 좀 더 충분한 시간 속에서 가치관련 사고를 하였으면 좋겠다는 응답을 하였다. 또한 사고의 폭이 넓어지고 가치판단과 가치선택에 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 보여진다.
결과적으로 청소년 시기의 중학생들의 올바른 가치관 형성을 위하여 한문 과목을 통해 가치관련 사고의 기회를 다양하게 제공하는 것이 바람직하며, 더 나아가 한문과의 가치관련 내용과 유사성이 많은 도덕과와의 교과통합을 통해 다양한 수업모형을 적용해 보는 것도 학생들의 가치관 형성에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The advance in science and technology has brought rapid changes to modern society, and people enjoy a more affluent life than ever before. However, there are lots of adverse phenomena behind the scene, such as human alienation, a lost sense of community, egoism and material ism. In particular, adolescents are exposed to school violence and social ills, and delinquent teens are on the steep rise. All the phenomena seemed to be attributed to a lack of well―established values.
In school, students must be educated to build up the right values and characters first of all, and then acquire academic knowledge and train the their bodies to be well―rounded.
The purpose of this study was to examine the structure of Chinese―writing textbook for middle school grade 3 In the 7th national curricula and make an analysis of that in terms of five value areas: filial piety, social relations, learning, nat ion and etiquette
The findings of this study were as follows:
Regarding filial piety, how children should respect their parents was emphasized.
As for social relations, how to make friends and what a friend should be 1ike were taught.
As to learning, the importance of reading was accentuated, and it's stressed that one should learn to lead a manly life and acquire the right way to look at things.
Concerning the nation, the textbook teach students to be patriotic and devote their lives to the nation even in case of being on the verge of death.
In relation to etiquette, the importance of promise and agreement between act ion and words was highlighted.
Ah instructional model geared toward developing the right values was utilized in class. After students learned about filial piety, they were asked to have a discussion. This type of Instruction enabled them to give more active presentation and express their opinions better than the teacher―led lecture instruction did. After the discussion, a survey was conducted and the result showed that they successfully internalized values. They replied that the Chinese―writing class provided value education to them, and they hoped to have more time to think about values. Furthermore, the instruction served to broaden the horizon of their thinking and exercised a positive impact on their value judgment and relevant choices.
In conclusion, middle school students in adolescence should be allowed to gain access to a wide variety of opportunities in Chinese―writ ing class to meditate on values to build up the right values. In addition, attempting different instructional models that integrate Chinese―wring class with moral instruction, which is similar to that in terms of value education, will be of great use.
