집단 따돌림에서의 동조집단 유형화 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 집단따돌림을 집단맥락적 관점에서 접근하여 가해자와 피해자를 제외한 대다수의 학생들을 동조집단이라고 정의하고 이들의 심리적 요소와 행동특성을 바탕으로 동조집단의 세부적인 유형을 구분하였다.
집단따돌림에 대한 문헌연구와 학생들의 자기보고에 기초하여 동조집단의 특성을 설명하는 10개의 요인을 추출하고 이를 바탕으로 76문항의 동조집단 유형을 확인하기 위한 도구를 제작하였다. 제작된 도구를 타당화하기 위하여 요인분석을 실시하였으며 신뢰도를 검증하고 자기평가와 또래 평가에 의하여 동조집단을 구분하여 집단간 차이를 검증하였다.
이 결과 동조집단 유형화를 위한 도구는 9개 요인, 59문항으로 제작되었다. 9개 요인은 각 집단의 특성을 설명하는 개념으로 이를 분석하여 동조집단의 유형을 구분한 결과 가해자 동조집단에 피해자 귀인, 공격성, 가해자 지지, 상황동조의 네 요인이 구성되었으며 방관자 집단에는 자기방어, 무관심, 쌍방과오의 3요인이 피해자 동조집단에는 피해자지지, 규범지향으로 구분되어 나타났다.
9개 요인을 바탕으로 동조집단의 특성을 확인해 보면 가해자 동조집단은 따돌리는 행동의 원인을 피해자에게로 귀인하고 따돌리는 행위, 타인을 공격하는 행동에서 만족을 느끼며 가해자와 무리 지어 어울려 다니며 그들의 가해행위를 적극적으로 지지하는 경향을 보이거나 다른 학생들이 다 따돌리기 때문에 본인도 분위기에 휩쓸려 동조하는 경향을 보인다.
방관자 집단은 따돌림 상황에서 개입할 경우 당하게 될 지도 모르는 곤란함 때문에 따돌림 장면에 개입하지 않고 모르는 척 자리를 피하거나 따돌림에 대해 자기와 관계없는 일이라고 생각하며 따돌림 상황에서도 평소대로 행동하는 모습을 보인다. 그리고 따돌림은 가해자 피해자 모두의 잘못이며 양쪽 다 문제가 있으므로 행동을 고쳐야 한다고 생각한다.
피해자 동조집단은 따돌림 상황에서 피해자를 지지하고 위로하며 동정하거나 따돌림 상황에서 가해자의 행동은 옳지 못하고 처벌을 받아야 하며 가해자와 피해자는 서로를 이해하고 인정해야 한다고 생각한다.
집단따돌림에서의 동조집단의 유형화는 집단따돌림의 예방과 감소를 위한 프로그램의 실시에서 대상학생들을 세분하여 접근할 수 있는 구체적 도움을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, bullying is approached by group-oriented view. The students other than bully and victim are defined the conformity group, and it is classified the conformity groups behaviors based on the psychological factors and the behavioral traits. 10 factors are abstracted from the literature reviews about the bullying and self-reports.
Making 76 questionnaires as the experimental implements are based on the 10 factors to certify the conformity groups patterns. The factor analysis is used to verify the experimental implements and to measure the validity. The conformity groups are divided and the differences among groups are examined by the self-reports and the peer nomination inventory.
In this result, the implements are made of 9 factors and 59 questionnaires to type the conformity group. 9 factors that are explained the traits of each groups are analyzed to categorize the patterns of conformity group. As a results, the traits of conformity group are consist of victim attribution, aggression, bully-support, situation conformity and the traits of the onlooker group are consist of self-reports, indifferences and bilateral faults and the traits of the conformity groups victim are consist of the victim-support and the normative inclination.
To look over the traits of the conformity group based on the 9 factors, the bully-conformity members attribute to the victims fault. They are satisfied from bullying and attack the other fellows. They like to band together. They encourage to commit violence and to take part in bullying in that situation, because the most of fellows do bullying.
The onlooker members do not side with bully either the conformity group. They avoid on that spot which students are bullying the other fellows and ignore them. They are afraid of being bullied another time. Both bully and victim have to be blamed. The problem of bullying has to be solved out.
The victim-conformity group has to support and relieve victims in the bullying situation. Bullying is wrong behavior and bully must be punished. Victim and bully have to help and understand each other
