The each volunteer had total four times of chiropractic treatment in the period of two weeks from March to September, 2003.
The change of active range of motion and intensity of pain were recorded and statistically analyzed after each chiropractic treatment.
The results were as follows. Each volunteer showed increased active range of motion and decreased intensity of pain after each chiropractic treatment. The largest change of result was monitored after the first chiropractic treatment.
Conclusively, chiropractic treatment should be considered as an effective method to treat patients with chronic low back pain.
