The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect on leisure immersion of perceived leisure constraint and leisure satisfaction of high school students. The 503 subjects were randomly selected, with the students of the six physical education high schools as a universe. MANOVA was used to test the difference between the variables and multiple regression analysis was made in order to analyse the causal relation between the variables, with the following conclusions.
1) Perceived Leisure constraint
a. For sex, girls were shown to be higher in time constraint factor, and boys in peer constraint factor.
b. For school, there was no difference in attitude constraint, situation constraint, and peer constraint factors. Regarding environment constraint factor, G high school was shown to be high.
c. For training frequency, four times a day was shown to be high in situation constraint and four times a day was also shown to be high in time constraint.
2) Leisure satisfaction
a. For sex, boys were shown to be higher in physical satisfaction, psychological satisfaction and learning satisfaction than girls.
b. For school, J high school was shown to be the highest in exchange satisfaction factor, and the same school was the highest in learning satisfaction factor.
c. For training frequency, there was no difference in all the factors.
3) Leisure immersion
a. For sex, boys were shown to be higher in experience standard than girls.
b. For school, S high school was the highest in experience standard.
c. For training frequency, there was no difference.
4) Effect of perceived leisure constraint on leisure immersion
It was shown that the stronger students feel attitude constraint, the more difficult they find it to get immersed in leisure.
5) Effect of leisure satisfaction on leisure immersion
The students of physical education high schools had the proper relation with leisure immersion in the order of psychological satisfaction, learning satisfaction, and social satisfaction, but they had the improper relation with physical satisfaction.
