대학생의 심리적 독립과 진로의사결정에 관한 연구 = (A) Study on Psychological separation and Career decision-making of College Student

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들의 부모로부터의 심리적 독립과 진로의사결정의 관계를 알아보고자 하는 것으로, 여러 사회인구학적 변인들에 따라 심리적 독립과 진로의사결정이 각각 어떠한 차이를 나타내며, 진로의사결정에 영향을 미치는 변인들에는 어떠한 것들이 있는지 밝혀보고자 하였다.
본 연구의 대상은 서울과 경기 및 충청지역의 5개 대학교 대학생 285명 (남학생 144, 여학생 141)이었다. 측정도구는 대학생의 부모로부터의 심리적 독립을 측정하기 위해 Hoffman(1984)이 제작한 심리적 독립척도(PSI)와 진로미결정 정도를 측정하기 위해 Osipow(1980)의 진로의사결정척도(CDS)를 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 SPSS-PC^(+)를 이용하여 t-검증과 일원변량분석, Pearson 상관계수, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
1. 학년, 성적, 거주형태와 같은 사회인구학적 변인에 따라 심리적 독립성은 차이가 있었다.
2. 학년, 성적, 아버지의 교육정도와 같은 사회인구학적 변인에 따라 진로의사결정은 차이가
3. 남녀대학생의 심리적 독립성 중 부모로부터의 갈등적 독립과 진로의사결정간에 유의미한 상관이 있었다.
4. 남자대학생의 진로의사결정에 기여하는 변인은 아버지로부터의 갈등적 독립, 성격, 아버지로부터의 태도적 독립으로 나타났고, 여자대학생의 경우에는 어머니로부터의 갈등적 독립, 학년, 아버지로부터의 갈등적 독립, 주거형태와 같은 변인들이 진로의사결정을 설명하는 변인들로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological separation from their parents and career decision-making of college students : to know differences of psychological separation and career decision-making respectively according to various socio-demographic variables; and to identify the variable which have effects on career decision-making.
The subjets of this study were in total 285 college students (144 male students, 141 female students) from 5 college.
The measurement scales used were the PSI(Psychological Separation Inventory) by Hoffman(1984) and Osipow'(1980)s CDM(Career Decisionmaking Scale).
For the statistical analysis the data, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, stepwise regression were used.
The results of this study are as follow:
1. There were significant differences in psychological independence according to socio-demographic variables such as grade, school record, separation experience.
2. There were significant differences in career decision-making according to grade, school record, father's education level.
3. There were significant correlation between psychological separation from parents and career decision-making.
For male and female students, the conflictual independence from parents they have the better career decision-making.
4. The variables affecting career decision-making of male students were conflictual independence from father, school record, and attitudinal independence from father. These three variables explained 24% of the total variance.
For career decision-making of female students, conflictual independence from mother, grade, conflictual independence from father, separation, separation experince had significant influences, these four variables explained 25% of the total variance of career decision-making. This finding, the psychological separation and socio-demographic variables privided significant means of predicting variations in committing to career decision making.
