The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between raising attitude recognized by high school girls and self-identity and to find out the desirable attitude.
The study was on the subject of 544 students of girls' high schools in Pohang and Yeongchun and the data of 538 was used except for 6 who were proved to be insincere in the survey.
The test of raising attitude of parents made by Kim, Ki Jeong(1984) and the test of self-identity made by 3 people including Choe, Jeong Hun were used as instruments for measurement of psychological relation of children, or raising attitude of parents recognized by children.
The results of this study were as follows:

Second, it showed that there was meaningful relation in most factors between subordinate factors of self-identity.
Third, it showed that there was meaningful relation in most factors between subordinate factors of raising attitude of parents and self-identity.
Fourth, it showed that the greater the difference of acceptance-refusal of parents was, the lower the ability of social adaptation was by major relation, and the greater the difference of autonomy-regulation was, the lower general self-identity like self-acceptance was by minor relation in relation analysis between different scores of raising attitude of parents and subordinate factors of self-identity.
Fifth, it showed that effects of the extent of difference in raising attitude of parents were acceptance-refusal and autonomy-regulation in the case of fathers, and acceptance-refusal and accomplishment pressure in the case of mothers.
Sixth, it showed that there was minor relation of low social adaptability and unique characters in the case of agreement in acceptance-refusal between both parents and there was meaningful major relation of general self-identity in the case of agreement in autonomy-regulation between them as for relation between subordinate factors of self-identity according to agreement or disagreement in raising attitude of parents and there was meaningful major relation in the case of agreement of accomplishment pressure and especially there was great effect in self-acceptance.
In modern nuclear family society, negative raising attitude of parents should be corrected and improved because the subject that children are been affected by are limited to their parents and siblings in family. Parents should accept children's own world different from theirs and change their attitude suited to the children's behavior mode because patents cannot force their children to behave with their one-sided demand and attitude in the relation between parents and their children.
As a result of this study, it showed that children's self-identity can be developed and they can adapt to the society and be a desirable member of it.
