    Nowdays, to adapt ourself to globalization, improving communicative ability in EFL(English as a foreign language) is getting more important. Fortunately, the recent curriculum for English in our country focuses on developing the ability. For the reason, we need to explore the way to improve communicative abilities of learners in EFL.
    Then, what is the most effective way to develope student's communicative ability? It is assumed to be the first to educate listening skill which has proven by many researchers as playing a great role and serving as a basis in communication. They claim that listening could be transferred to speaking, reading and writing easily. Namely, it means that listening skill has a priority any other skills are dealt for successful communication. In this way, the need of ways that could facilitate it is strongly required.
    Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to improve listening Comprehension of English through using pop songs on affective factors such as self-esteem, inhibition, anxiety, empathy, and motivation that are believed to have great influence on language learning and acquisition positively or negatively.
    Major findings of the study are as follows:
    1. Listening of four skills should be taught first for successful communication of learners in EFL;
    2. Since affective factors have direct or indirect effects on listening skill in EFL, these should be considered sufficiently according to learners' variables;
    3. Teachers could educate not only listening but speaking, reading, and writing in EFL through pop songs. Consequently it is a very meaningful and useful aid of English education;
    Finally, these findings drew me to the conclusion that using pop songs related with the affective domain in various ways could improve listening comprehension of learners in EFL.
