The purpose of this thesis aims to make multiple contributions to the promotion of the welfare activities by catching the factors which affect the job-satisfaction level, and the work satisfaction for the employees at the welfare facilities led by the Suwon Catholic parish and the influence of Christianity's spirituality on the job-satisfaction.
The followings are addressed in this thesis;
First, to examine in what way job-satisfaction factors are seen by the employees.
Second, to examine the interrelationship among the employees' job-satisfaction, the system situation and their individual elements.
Third, to examine the major elements to affect the most the employees' job-satisfaction.
For this study, a survey was conducted on social welfare workers at 76 welfare facilities in the Suwon Catholic parish by mail and by door visits, and all 113 copies were collected and analyzed for the result.
The method of data analysis are the SPSS WIN which is for the frequency analysis in order to grip the people's feature and the facilities' general feature, and the Cronbach's a factor which is for reliance analysis in order to inspect the consistency of the measures (the job-satisfaction, the spirituality).
The Pearson's Correlation Analysis and The Anova were used to grip the relation with the job-satisfaction and the facility feature, the feature of the people who were subject of study. The Multiple Regression Analysis were used to inspect the relation between the influence and the facility feature, the feature of the people who were subject of study.
The summary of this study is following;
First, the average work satisfaction level of the Catholic social welfare workers accounted for 3.25, and that means they are generally satisfied with it. As the details, the work satisfaction level is 3.61; the wage satisfaction level, 2.57; the promotion satisfaction level, 2.57; the colleague satisfaction level, 3.86; the facilities satisfaction level, 3.27 and the superintendence, 3.65,The following satisfaction parameters have particularly presented the higher score then others and they are the colleague satisfaction, the superintendence, the work satisfaction, the facilities satisfaction, the wages satisfaction and the promotion satisfaction..
Second, the influencing elements on the job-satisfaction are shown the age and the spirituality. We confirmed that they were influenced by growing older and having higher spirituality level.
As a result, it is remarkable that the influencing elements on the job-satisfaction are not the number of the people t o be admitted, the number of the staffs, the number of employees, the ages, the term of engagement, but the level of the ages and the spirituality.
The purpose of social welfare is delivering the fittest service efficiently. Also, the quality of the members in facilities which is delivering social welfare service is directly connected with the success of the project. As a result, the key to success lies insecurity and in preservation of competent manpower.
So, having countermove and being interested in job-satisfaction of social welfare workers could contribute t o improve the quality of social welfare service.
