現代 패션에 나타난 스카프 디자인 硏究 = (A) Study of a Scarf Design Appearing in Modern Fashion

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대 사회에서는 개성 있는 패션 감각이 요구되어지고 있으며 의복에 대한 개념 또한 많은 변화를 갖게 되었고, 그에 따라 장신구의 역할도 점차적으로 중요하게 인식되었다.
오늘날의 이러한 시대적인 경향이 소비자들의 생활수준 향상으로 인한 소비성향의 다채로움, 구매활동의 변화, 민감한 유행성 등에 의해 소비패턴 자체를 다양화 시키고 있다. 이러한 점들이 옷에 대한 개념에도 많은 영향을 주어 의복의 형태가 점차 단순화되면서 액세서리에 의한 분위기를 연출 할 수 있는 방법이 다양해짐에 따라 장신구의 필요성 또한 중요하게 강조되고 있다.
그 중에서 스카프는 여러 가지의 연출방법에 따라 손쉽게 독특한 조형미를 나타낼 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그것은 단순한 액세서리가 아닌 개인의 개성에 의해 자유롭게 착용하며 변화를 주어 자신만의 패션을 만들어 내고 연출 할 수 있는 하나의 훌륭한 소품이 된 것이다.
그 실용성과 작품성을 동시에 표현 할 수 있는 스카프 영역은 본 연구자에게 아주 매력적인 면으로 다가온다.
세계적인 유명패션 브랜드에서도 스카프는 독특한 장르를 가지고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 그것은 상품가치 이상의 예술적 조형성을 스카프 영역에서 찾을 수 있다는 것이다. 그들이 스카프에 쏟은 관심은 곧 세계 패션 트랜드에 깊은 영향을 미치고 있으며 그 다양한 용도와 무궁무진한 디자인 개발의 영역을 우리도 하루 빨리 인식하여 그들과의 경쟁에서도 뒤지지 않도록 소재와 디자인 개발에 커다란 관심과 비중을 두어야 한다고 생각한다.
본 연구자는 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 스카프의 유래와 역사 종류와 방법론 등 상세하고 깊이 있는 연구를 통하여 우리의 스카프에 대한 미래를 예견하는 것은 중요한 작업이라고 생각되었다.
이를 토대로 아름다운 한국의 전통문화를 기반으로 한국적인 디자인의 개발의 가능성에 대하여 확신과 가능성을 찾는 계기 또한 되고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The sense of fashion in modern society is important and fashion's tendency in the current times has been diversified by a consumer consumption pattern itself, such as improvement of one's living standard, diversification of consumption trend, a change of purchasing activity, and a fashionable style. As a result, a concept of clothes has changed and the necessity of accessories is emphasized as the feature of clothes is simplified and the ways which can create an atmosphere with accessories are varied.
A scarf of many accessories can create its own peculiar formative beauty according to the various ways to use it. A scarf is not mere accessories. It can create one's own fashion considering one's individuality.
Through this study, I would like to confirm the possibility that a scarf's use can satisfy the Modern sense and peculiarity. The formative trend of a scarf with its various materials, colors and forms, and design can be applied not only to accessories but also to silhouettes.
The conclusion of this study is the following.
First, although a scarf is a common item it can achieve harmony coordinate with its fashion due to its gorgeous decorative trend by its various materials and patterns.
Second, it seems a scarf to be used from ancient times. With the understanding of the current of fashion, original and creative design development of a scarf is necessary because modern people consider personal expression and individuality to be important in a variety of situations.
Third, the materials of a scarf used in former days were limited. However, as the materials, such as Silk Chiffon, Jacquard, Satin, Cashmere, Wool, and jute fabric in the present times, are used we can say that they not only express the arts with high additional value but also have a outstanding practical use for clothes design.
Through this study I described clothes design coordinate with the modern and original sense by using the formative trend and materials of a scarf. Modem people purchase items to express their own individuality rather than simply for the necessity of them. Thus, it seems the standard expecting design in modem times higher than that in former times. In addition, designers have to develop more original and creative scarves as a role the scarves play in an aspect of a pattern increases.
Up to now, I have described a role of scarf not only as its formative trend but also as accessories. I hope that a scarf can be more widely used in modem fashion as more various scarves are designed considering the formative trend of a scarf with its various materials and patterns.
