고등학생 의미교육을 제안하기 위한 일연구 : Frankl의 개념을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 Frankl의 인간이해를 중심으로 가치관과 인생의 의미 의미교육의 학교장면에서의 적합성과 필요성, 의미교육의 효과적인 적용시기, 실존적 공허 실태와 삶을 의미있게 한 사례 등의 조사와 기호적 의미교육 시범을 통하여 의미교육의 교육적 의의를 밝히고 이를 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 시기를 탐색하며, 의미교육의 적용을 제안하기 위한 근거와 의미교육의 기초적 자료를 제시하려고 하는 데에 그 목적이 있다.
문헌고찰을 통해서 의지의 자유, 의미에의 의지, 삶의 의미 등의 개념을 가지는 인간관이, 가치를 실현하는 책임있는 응답을 함으로써 인간에게 의미를 발견할 수 있는 능력을 함양시킨다는 것과, 현 학교 교육에서 의미교육이 요구되고 있음을 보았고, 설문조사로 적용의 효과적 시기를 추정해 보았다. 또한 기초적 의미교육의 시범도 평가해 보았다.
조사대상자는 중2 , 고2 , 대2 , 고졸 직장인, 대졸 직장인 각각 50명 내외의 집단이고 지역은 서울, 성별은 여성이었다. 조사도구는 Purpose in Life test Part A와 Seeking of Noetic Goals test은, 삶의 목적 찾은 경위 등을 묻는 설문지였고 집단간 차이 비교는 t검증했다. 그 이후 고2생 10명에겐 기초적 의미교육 시범 후 평가질문지를 조사했고 사후 PIL test하였다.
조사결과, 전반적으로 삶의 목적 수준은 낮고, 추구하고자 하는 자세는 꾸준히 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 고교시기의 실존적 공허상태는 심각하여 고교시기가 성숙을 촉진하고 문제를 예방하는 데에 효과적인 시기가 될 수 있을 것이라는 가정을 가능하게 했다. 그리고 기초적 의미교육도 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사받을 수 있었다. 그리하여 의미교육을 고등학교에 적용하는 것과 그 시기 이전과 이후에도 계속적인 교육기회가 요구되고 있음을 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis has the purpose in clarifying Logo- education's significance, searching the effective application time, showing the foundation for Logoeducation and basic model data through investigation the view of value and meaning of life founded on Frankl's general idea of man, Logo- education's suitability and necessity in school situation, the actual condition about the existential emptiness, the cases making life meaningful, and acting basic Logo- education model.
From the book reseach, it was looked that the view of man having the concept -freedom of will, will to meaning, meaning of life-can develop the ability to find meaning as the responsible reacting to actualize the value, and Logo -education is needed in the present schools. Through the questionaire investigation, the effective application time was deduced. And Logo- education's basic model was evaluated after acting.
The subjects of the investigation were respectively 50 more or less persons-second grade in middle and high school, sophomore, workers group in high school and college graduate. The area was Seoul and sex distinction was woman. Research tools are Purpose in Life test part A, Seeking of Noetic Goals test and questionaire answering the circumstances about the acquired purpose in life. t-verification compared the difference among the groups. The 10 high school students were investigated by PIL test and the evaluation questionaire after acting basic Logo-education model.
The research results are these. Generally, the purpose level in life is low, the seeking is being continually, the high school's existential emptiness condition is especially serious. This time is effective for maturation promoting and problem preventing. Also the basic Logo-education model can be hinted to obtain positive results. Therefore the need for Logo-education's appication to high school, the continual opportunity educated before and after that time was searched.
