유치원 음악교육 환경에 관한 실태조사연구 : 대구지역의 공·사립 유치원을 중심으로(With public and private kindergartens in Daegu in the center) = A Study on The Fact-Finding Survey against The Environment of Musical Education in Kindergarten.

As the babyhood in the step of human growth is the time of basic formation, the music in this period provides a sense of security and a desirable humanity to children.
Especially, the musical education in kindergarten contributes the musical growth , the development of originality, and the powers of musical appreciation to children.
The purpose of this study is to comparatively examine the actual condition of the musical education in kindergartens, by dividing between private and public kindergarten to constitute an exemplary environment for the education, and is to
accurately grasp the point at issue by perceiving the necessity of early musical education, and is to grope an advisable direction for the musical education in kindergarten by presenting an alternative plan.
I selected fifty public kindergartens and one hundred private kindergartens, and one hundred fifty teachers in kindergartens as objects for investigation in order to analyze the contents of musical education, the quality of teachers, and the present condition of educational tools.
The result of such analysis are as follows.
Firstly, there is need to secure various musical instruments in order to provide musical experiences for children. Because both kindergartens' holding amount of musical instruments was low.
Secondly, there is need to improve the method of musical education in order to impartially develop their musical emotion for powers of appreciation and originality. Because the method of current learning was partial to the part of singing by the insufficiency of musical textbooks and instruments, and the shortage of teachers' capacity.
Thirdly, there is need to give opportunities of self-development and the study on musical program to teachers in order to cultivate the capacity as a leader.
Because just 51percents private kindergartens have employed a music master, public kindergartens didn't secure anyone by economical difficulties.
Fourthly, there is need to make a special course in curriculum of universities in order to cultivate good teachers who combine theoretical and practical knowledge. Because the course of musical education in the current curriculum couldn't cultivate excellent teachers, and teachers in the actual spot didn't well.
