어린이의 HTP 검사 반응에 대한 해석과 특징연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미술은 언어 혹은 문자를 알기 이전부터 미술이 가진 시각적 요소를 통해 간단한 의사소통과 감정의 표현이 가능하기 때문에 어린이들의 내면적인 의식의 세계와 무의식의 세계를 이해하는데 많은 도움을 주어 왔다. 이와 같은 면에 기초하여 어린이들의 자유로운 그림 표현을 통해 욕구나 갈등을 이해하고 진단할 수 있는 효과적 방법이 미술이라 하겠다.
본 논문에서는 투사적 방법인 HTP[H(House:집)-T(Tree:나무)-P(Person:사람)]검사 반응을 통해 어린이들의 심리적 특성을 이해 진단하고자 아래와 같은 내용을 다루었다.
1> HTP검사의 이해를 돕기 위해 심리학적 발달측면의 문헌적 연구 중심으로 어린이 그림의 의미 및 특징, 그림의 발달적 단계를 도판과 함께 살펴보았다.
2> 기초적인 단계로 투사법 중 HTP검사의 기본 개념을 문헌적 고찰을 통해 역사, 관점, 특성 등 이론적 배경을 밝혔다.
3> 투사법 중 HTP검사의 문헌적 고찰과 임상연구가의 사례해석을 토대로 14명의 어린이를 대상으로 HTP검사 반응을 실시 진단하고 어린이들에게 나타날 수 있는 특징들을 분류하며 연구하였다.
본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 정상적으로 학습을 받는 어린이도 심리적 갈등과 우울, 분노, 억압, 강박 및 불안정성이 상당한 어린이들에게서 나타났다.
둘째, 외국의 연구 자료로 우리나라 어린이들의 심리진단을 이해해야 됨을 문화적, 환경적, 정서적 차이로 타당성이 결여 된다.
셋째, 자유롭게 표현하므로 어린이 내면의 마음을 효과적으로 진단할 수 있었다.
넷째, 14명의 사례대상을 통해 특징을 분류한 결과 미취학어린이는 그림의 발달적 단계인 미분화 현상으로 내용적 분석을 전체적으로 해석한다는 것은 어려운 문제점으로 남았다.
본 연구는 현실적으로 미흡한 조건 속에서 진행되었으나, 이를 통하여 연구자는 어린이들의 심리적 갈등과 어려움이 심각하다는 평가를 내릴 수 있었다. 앞으로 보다 효과적으로 어린이 마음의 세계를 진단하여 건강한 자아로 성장시키고 갈등 및 적응문제를 해결 해 나가도록 도와주는 한국의 표준화 심리검사자료가 시급히 연구되어야 한다고 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Before knowing the language or letters, and due to its innate visual effects which made simple conversation and emotional expression possible to each other, Art has been contributed to understanding both the internal conscious and unconscious worlds of children. Owing to these characteristics, art can be defined as the effective and diagnostic method to understand the children's desire and conflicts through their own free drawings.
On this thesis, I used the HTP(House, Tree, Person) Examination Response, that is one of projective methods. By using this procedure, I examined the following items in order to know the psychological characteristics of children.
1) For helping understand the HTP Examination by focusing on philological research towards psychological development phases, my study pursued the children drawings' meaning and traits not to mention the developmental steps of children by means of diagnosis.
2) As a basic step, I examined the elemental concepts of the HTP Exam that is one of projective methods on the basis of philological studies such as history, view point, characteristics and theoretical background.
3) On the basis of both philological research of the HTP Exam and a case interpretation of clinical training, I chose 14 children to observe the HTP response. After this observation, I diagnosed the results by classifying them according to various responses shown on each child.
The following is the findings of my study.
First, psychological conflicts, depression, anger, suppression, pressure and emotional nervousness are shown even to the normally educated children.
Second, due to the gap of different culture, circumstance and emotional difference between nations, I think that the psychological diagnosis towards our children by using foreign research materials is not relevant to us because of its own impertinence.
Fourth, I can find some irrelevant problems when interpreting children drawings' on the basis of their developmental procedures through characteristics that were shown from both structural and content analysis.
In conclusion, although my study circumstance was not satisfactory conditions, I can draw a following conclusion like this : the state of internal conflicts and psychological burden of children can be said as being serious. Therefore, what is needed and what we have to do at this time is to make a Korean Standard Psychological Examination format as soon as possible in oder to properly diagnose children's innate worlds of minds and to help grow each ego soundly to resolve their conflicts and adaptable problems.
