幼兒敎育에서 活用하고 있는 韓國 傳來童話의 內容 分析 = CONTENT ANALYSIS OF KOREAN TRADITIONAL FAIRY USED IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유치원에서 활용되고 있거나, 활용할 수 있고 유아들이 선호하는 한국전래동화의 내용을 분석하고 이것을 근거로 하여 유치원 교육목표와의 관련성을 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다.
이를 위하여 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다.
1. 전래동화는 주제별에 따라 어떠한 양상을 나타내고 있는가?
2. 전래동화는 소재별에 따라 어떠한 양상을 나타내고 있는가?
3. 전래동화는 유치원 교육과정 교육 목표 영역과 어떠한 관련을 맺고 있는가?
4. 전래동화는 유치원 교육과정 생활주제와 어떠한 관련을 맺고 있는가?
이상의 연구문제를 위하여 다음과 같이 분석하였다.
분석 대상의 전래동화는 유치원 교육과정과 관련된 없권의 단행본으로 어린이 도서관에서 쉽게 구해볼 수 있고, 어린이에게 가장 많이 읽혀지고 있으며, 또한 어린이들이 가장 잘 알고 있는 것을 기준으로 하였으며, 분석은 주제와 소재에 따라 유치원 교육과정과 유치원 생활주제와 어떠한 관련이 있는가를 분석하였으며, 분석결과는 빈도와 백분율 및 순위로 표시 하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
1. 주제별로는 부토에 대한 효성이나 형제간의 우애 등을 이상적으로 묘사한 것이 대부분이고, 권선징악이 그 다음이며, 애국심과 자아성장에 대한 것은 가장 적다.
2. 소재별로는 일상생활에 관계된 것이 가장 많고 그 다음은 우화에 관련된 것, 동식물의 의인화, 팬터지(환상적), 자연의 의인화의 순으로 나타난다.
3. 교육목표 영역별로는 언어생활, 건강생활, 표현생활 면의 발달 부분보다는 사회생활, 탐구생활 면에 관련된 동화가 많다.
4. 생활주제별로는 우리 나라, 가족, 계절에 관한 생활주제를 다룬 동화가 많다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study was directed to analyze the contents of Korean traditional fairy tales which are currently utilized for preschool children in connection with the objectives of kindergarten education.
The research problems of this study were as following,'
1. What kind of themes are appeared in the fairy tales which are most frequently used in kindergartens as well as at homes?
2. What kind of characters are appeared in the fBiry tales?
3. Are the main themes of the fairy tales adequately incorporated with the domains of educational objectives of kindergarten?
4. Are the contents or themes of the fairy tales adequatel realted to the of kindergarten programs?
The researcher selected 86 Korean traditional fairy tales for the analysis. The tales selected in the study were those which are supposed to be used in kindergarten or to be easily accessible by the preschoolers. And the unit of analysis was the main theme of each tale. Number of main themes and type of character, respectively, are counted and totaled for 86 tales by each analysis classification.
Finally, percentages and rank-orders are calculated.
The results of the study are as following:
1, The themes most frequently appeared are filial duty for parents and affection among fEmily members. Provocation of virtue and inhibition of vice are the second in order. Patriotism and self-growth were the least in frequency.
2. The contents related to daily life were found most frequently. A fable or animism were found in most cases.
3. The themes which are related to social and scientific inquiry were appeared most frequently as compared to verbal, physical, and emotional expression.
4. The contents of the fairy tales were closely related to country life and human relations among family members.
