특성불안과 비합리적 신념이 진로 결정과 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 : 4년제 대학생과 전문대학생의 비교(Comparison between the 4-year college students and the 2-year-college students = The influence of the trait anxiety and the Irrational beliefs on the career decision and the career preparation behavior

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 4년제 대학생들과 2년제의 전문대학생들이 진로결정과 진로준비행동을 할 때, 특성불안과 비합리적 신념이 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이 연구를 하기 위하여, 전북지역의 4년제 대학들 중 4개의 학교 학생들 283명과 전문대학들 중 3개 학교의 학생들 135명에게 설문조사를 하였다. 본 연구에서는 심리적 특성을 측정하기 위하여 특성불안 척도와 Eills가 제시한 비합리적 신념 척도를 사용하였고, 진로에 관한 변인을 측정하기 위하여 진로결정검사와 진로준비행동검사를 사용하였다. 4년제 대학생들은 진로결정과 진로준비행동을 하는데 있어서 비합리적 신념과 특성불안의 영향을 받고 있지만, 전문대학 학생들은 진로결정에 있어서만 비합리적 신념과 특성불안의 영향을 받고, 진로준비행동에 있어서는 두 변인 모두에서 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 진로결정과 진로준비행동에 관한 상담이 이루어질 때, 특성불안이나 비합리적 신념의 영향이 4년제 대학생들과 전문대학생들에게 다른 양상으로 나타나기 때문에, 서로 다르게 접근되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to know how the trait anxiety and the irrational beliefs are affecting on the career decision and the career preparation behavior of 4-year college students and 2-year college students, respectively. To implement this study, I have done a questionnaire to 283 students from 4 colleges, among universities in Chonbuk Province, and 135 students from 3 junior colleges. The trait anxiety scales and the irrational beliefs scales, suggested by Eills, are used to measure the psychological traits in this study, as well as using the career decision scales and the career preparation behavior level to measure the variable factors on the career. We have used the statistic method of ANOVA to compare the career decision level and the career preparation behavior level between the 4-year college students and the junior college students, and used the statistic method of the path analysis to investigate the influence of the trait anxiety and the irrational beliefs on their career decision and the career preparation behavior.
In conclusion, the 4-year college students have a lot of influences from the irrational beliefs and the trait anxiety in making their career decisions and career preparation behaviors, as well. The 2-year college students, however, are influenced by the irrational beliefs and the trait anxiety only in making their career decisions, not in their career preparation behaviors. Accordingly, it is suggested that different approaches are required in counselling students on their career decisions and career preparation behaviors because the influence of the trait anxiety and the irrational beliefs are shown differently between the 4-year college students and the 2-year college students.
