To study the effect of participation in the dance sports with middle aged woman who get married and have at least one child I measured the stress level of dance sports participants (282) and non-participants (114), 396 in total. The measurement means was The Psychological Well-Being Index by Lee, long Mock and Park, Han Gi. I reached a conclusion which was based on the analytic results.
First, there was no noticeable difference of stress levels between the participants and non-participants. Participants had slightly lower stress levels than non-participants in the areas of execution of social roles, self-esteem, insomnia and anxiousness.
Second, in terms of the level of stress according to the age, there was no noticeable difference between the participants and the non-participants.
Participants had slightly lower stress than non-participants in the areas of execution of social roles, self-esteem, insomnia and anxiousness.
Third, in terms of the level of stress according to the dance sports duration, there was a correlation. As the duration of the dance increases, the level of stress decreases. As the number of times to the participation increases, the level of stress and the level of factors decreases and the time to the participation doesn't make noticeable difference between the level of stress and the level of factor.
