Recently, however, theorists are in agreement that those two concepts share a close relationship but are quit distinct, and that service quality is conceptually an antecedent to consumer satisfaction. And consumer satisfaction is very important an antecedent to relationship marketing.
Proposed hypothesis were examined by experiment designed in this study. Data for this experiment were collected from consumers who visited financial firm. A total of 261 samples were used for the analysis. LISREL 8.03 program was used to examine the hypothesis of theoretical constructs.
The analysis results supported that the outcome quality and process quality are a significant determinant to the firm's image, and that image is an additional factor which the perception of service quality and the consumer satisfaction. Service quality in financial industry influences strongly both consumer satisfaction and relationship marketing. And consumer satisfaction affects relationship marketing.
